Greenhouse Devlog 12/10/23 - The Grind + New Laptop :oo (Patreon)

Hey, what's up? I brought you some delicious fruit.

It took some time to remember how to shade after not doing it for several months but I'm back into the swing of things for sure. And holy fuck I finally started using the fill tool when coloring after for some reason avoiding it for so long and that makes things so much easier and quicker. I think it's insane that I wasn't using it before. It makes things so much less tedious.

So far I've been able to get 50 of the illustrations completely done and ready for chapter 2. It's less than I'd like but that's an pretty alright amount.

Much thanks to you guys I was finally able to save up enough $ for a new laptop! And this thing is strong! Probably 10x faster than my old one, which was basically an old internet machine. So yeah, thanks guys! It'll make the gamemaking side of Greenhouse waaaay faster for me. Every time I saved my scripts(Which I do like 50-100 times per day while scripting) it would take 30 seconds to be able to test the game on my old laptop.  On the new one it's like 2 seconds. 0.0

The new laptop will also allow me to do whatever I want in the 3d art space too whenever I decide to focus on that in the future, so that's sick.
