First Dev Build of Greenhouse Chapter 1 is LIVE! (Patreon)

And I need folks to test it!

There are ~80 images and ~10000 words in this first chapter. It's actually really easy to accidentally finish the game really quickly but I'd recommend going back to a previous save or starting over and trying a different route if you haven't yet. I'd also recommend using multiple saves in case one becomes corrupt for any reason.

I'm not going to write a whole lengthy description of what the game is yet but basically it's a moody interactive fiction NSFW game about an anthro dragon exploring an abandoned flora research complex. It's a little kinky and weird so if that's not your thing I wouldn't recommend it.

Honestly I'm not sure what to expect for testers since I don't have other computers to run it on.. It runs great on mine but I'm not sure how it'll be for everyone else. So please be patient if you have issues. :>

As far as I'm aware, it only works on windows but I don't have a mac to run it on so I'm not really sure.

If somebody does have a mac I'd be curious if it runs correctly though. 🧐

Fixed several glitches and added WASD support + next, previous and choice hotkeys.

Fixed uncapped fps glitch.

Fixed an glitch where autosave was stacking on-top of itself and causing issues after a gameover sequence. Also fixed files not deleting properly.

Turned off vSync and fixed a load in glitch.

Installation is pretty standard for these types of things.

Just download the zip file, right click it and unzip. You can then open "Greenhouse".exe and it'll open the game.

Your antivirus might think it's suspicious or whatever but you should be able to bypass that.

Once you start the game it could ask you for internet access. You can just close that out. The game doesn't actually require any internet.

I assume I've made some mistakes throughout the game so I need you guys to find them before I launch! :)

If you find a bug or mistake, have a recommendation, or have trouble opening the game please let me know via my Discord or Twitter.

If there's an error in the code, it should popup in red at the bottom of the screen in game. If that happens it could be helpful if you sent me a screenshot of the expanded error text. (Click the red text to expand if it's expandable). That along with a short description of what you were trying to do when you got the error. Of course you don't have to do all that but it could help me fix it.
