Hi all! The webinar experiment continues!

I just wanted to pop in with some quick instructions on how this month's webinar is going to go. If you click the link included here, you can download the free Zoom app. This is where the webinar is going to be held.

Thursday, I will share a link to a "meeting". Clicking the link when you already have the app downloaded and installed should automatically open the program, and bring you into the webinar. This works on both mobile and desktop

An important difference to note: If you allow Zoom to have access to your camera and mic, these may be automatically activated when you click the link and you are brought into the class. MEANING that we may all be able to immediately see and hear you! I'm emphasizing this because I don't want anyone to be caught in a ~compromising~ (read: naked) position when they join us.

There is no obligation to be on camera while the webinar is happening, you have the option to turn off your camera and mic at any time. There will still be a discussion board/chatroom area while in the meeting for all of your comments and questions.

However, for those of you who are willing to be seen, I would love to get to know you a little bit. We are going to open the class by sharing our names with one another!

For those who have never used Zoom before: I'm going to be going live to host a "test" meeting at 5:45pm PDT, Thursday, before the webinar. I invite you all to join me so that we can smooth out any technical glitches before we start.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to comment and I will do my best to answer. I look forward to meeting you.
