As y'all know I'm dippin my tiny little toes into the clay world and I'm loving it!!!! I actually wanted to sign up for like a pottery class but then ya know... it's probably crazy expensive and I also don't have that much time lol then there's oven bake clay, but I'mma need that small oven for the clay and I didn't want to invest that much coz I'm still a beginner, so the next best thing is air dry clay!!!

So here's some of the tools I bought and I'm just gonna tell y'all how I use it even though it's probably not how it's supposed to be used lmao

Some wooden tools I use to slice and smooth the surface of the clay while you're still working on it.

So these blue ass silicone tools.... I honestly  haven't used these yet... lol

Oh my magic balls!!!! I guess you can use it to make deep eye sockets.

The plastic version of the magic balls.

Like the magic balls but for smaller holes for detailing!

These are my old tools I used a lot!!! Mainly for smoothing out and attaching a part to another.

My wire cutter, the sponge, wire and lil scissors!!! I use the aluminum wire for the structure, especially when I'm attaching like little and thin pieces that might break off, I use this wire to strengthen the hole of the clay parts!

Sharp tools for detailing!

Sharper tools hehe I barely use those brush type things, I guess that's for cleaning???

Spray bottle!!! Got this very important tip from a fren that I should keep water near me when I'm working with clay to keep it moist! Sometimes when you're working for a long time on a piece, it'll obviously dry up a little and cracks may appear at this stage so you can easily remedy that with a lil spray spray of that water!!!

Sandpaper!!! To smooth out the clay into it's final form!!!

Some stuff to attach to the clay to make it more... functional hehe

The wooden stuff where I'll make my lil creatures stand!!!

Smol rolling pin that's supposed for my baking hobby lmao but too smol! But perfect for clays!

Silicone mats!

And finally the clay I use! It actually sucks a lil coz it cracks more than the older stuff I use (Polyform Model Air clay) but it's the same brand?? Maybe just different formula!

Soooo that's all the materials I've collected! I bought it all from Amazon and Walmart lol I'm still learning a lot about clay sculpting but it's really fun and I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna abandon this hobby hehe I'll post pictures of my current clay creatures next time!!!

So how are y'all doinggggg! Did any of you pick up a new hobby in this lockdown era!!!!! Please share!!!! I've been watching a LOT of documentaries and movies right now, please recommend your favorites so I can enjoy it tooo :(

Hope everyone's safe and healthy! We'll get through this my frens!!!
