Style Post (part 1) (Patreon)

Henlo my frens! Just gonna do a lil breakdown of all the styles I've tried, flops and the bops hehe

DEC 2016! This single picture at the bottom of flowers was literally like the first time I tried "painting" lmao. I was just helping my sister with her homework about art and I was like hMMMM nomnom wat is this. I think that was Tempera paint? (i was gonna say tempura but i was like hmm that's not right). Then I tried a lil bit of watercolor. This phase was NOT consistent and I was just doing art like once a month or something lol 

AUG 2017! Here, I tried copic, sketching and oil paint, which I  LOVED but since I was only able to paint during weekends, it felt SOooo long before I finish a piece since I have to wait for the layers to dry! So I kinda lost interest over art this time, and stopped maybe for months! Or at least I wasnt super consistent at this phase!

OCT 2017! The start of my digital painting phase hehe the girl in the red dress was, i think, my first digital painting?!!! my technique so ugly, but that lil drawing of my room back then is kinda cute!!!!!!!! I wanna try doing that again!

NOV 2017!I don't know what digital phase this is but it's so corny. My gollie. I think this was like,,,, after I watched too many korean dramas and music videos that I wanted to do some sort of comic type????

JAN 2018! Oooof here comes the start of the messy digital phase!!!! But here I finally discovered that I could paint digitally over my sketchbook drawings lol oh and I learned about blend modes at this time! that's why I went super crazy and got into my messy phase!!!

FEB 2018! (Can yall believe this was just last year!!!!!!!) And Tadaaa, here's the messy collage phase! Some of it, as you can see, are drawings from my sketchbook that I colored digitally. The collages are like cut outs from magazine and I edited digitally. Mess mess mess. But I actually enjoyed it?? I don't know why??? 

MARCH 2018! Drawing phase!!!!!!! Can you believe I had this much patience back then to draw all these lines lmao Painted digitally and went crazy over apps, hence, the rain and sparkle effect lol

APRIL 2018! Start of my favorite phase!!!! The Sketchbook phase!!! This first sketchbook was a mess too coz I didn't really know what to draw or paint? Or at least, I have no idea of like what subject I want to paint?? Was still testing water, trying sharpie markers, watercolor, and the first top picture is MAYBE? the first time I used acrylic on my sketchbook??? Just maybe! 

Sooo that's the first part!!! From Dec 2016-Apr 2018!!!!! Since April 2018, I've been super consistent with posting and making art, that's probably why there's kinda a much noticeable improvements!!!!
