CLAY TOOLS AND....INGREDIENTS... ? hahaha (Patreon)

I think I had a video or post of all the tools and stuff I use to make my clay things, but I'll also list it below!!

I bought some new stuff lately, I'm planning on making more clay pins or little desk friends again, maybe keychains!!

OVEN BAKE CLAY - I buy this at my local walmart store lolll because it's super expensive if you get it from amazon! Idk why!!

I use super small amount of cornstarch and like.. rub it on my hands to avoid the clay sticking on my hands. But also don't put too much because you still need a bit of stickiness to mold it!

UV LAMP-  to cure the resin! You can also use those LED lamps which I think would be better since you don't need to change the bulbs but idk... this is my first lamp and I'm afraid to test new shit out lmaoo

RESIN -  This is the clear coat I use to......... coat.. the clay (sorry brain not working!!) There's like 100 million resin to choose on Amazon and the others I've tried are usually sticky or it takes so long to get cured!!! So I always trust this one with the flowery design on the bottle hahahha I cure it in the UV lamp for like... 5-10 minutes but you can probably cure it shorter than that, if it's sticky then you need to cure it longer!

• Resin is super sticky so you might want to use gloves when youre putting it on your clay!

• It's also annoying to wash off of brushes so make sure you're using an old brush or just a cheap disposable brush when you apply it on your clay.

• Some people also don't like the smell and it's most probably harmful if you keep sniffing it so you can wear a mask or just make sure you're in a well ventilated space

OVEN - okay so for this oneee you can use any cheap little counter toaster oven or somethinnnn! I can't find the brand I have but the pic below is the closest I can find. I got mine for $20 from a sale or clearance on walmart I think and I've had it for probably 5 years for my clay stuff! I always bake my clay at around 200-250 degrees for like 10 minutes. I also advise not to use the oven you use for your food because ya knoww the fumes and all... science.. am i right

PAINT- I use my regular acrylic paint I bought from walmieeee,  

And as of the tools... I think I posted all the clay tools I had but I never really use them anymore, I prefer molding everything with my silly little hands! But if you want to buy some, I think you only use a couple of them so don't get scammed by those 100 pc in a set shit!!!

I think the most tools I've used are the blue ones with the little balls and one with sharp or flat... heads.. to cut or flatten my clay!

Anddd I think that's pretty much all I use for my clay stuff!!

Oh if you wanna be extra you can use these silicone mats to work on!
