I struggled how to title this but yeah- this is basically me rambling and sharing some of my struggles with anxiety aswell as some things that helps me cope with it.
I hope it might help someone here that also struggles, atleast to know that you're not alone.

thank you for the inspiring audio :) i'm very proud and you're so brave for facing this! i also struggle with anxiety ... going to therapy was probably the best decision i've ever made & i strongly believe that everyone should give it a chance. i also started journaling a while ago and it helps with my overthinking as well! writing down all the thoughts to let them go & to keep your mind at peace🌞 my therapist gave me the incredible tip to (if you have the chance) take an ice cube into your hand whenever you feel a panic attack coming. the feeling keeps your whole nervous system & brain busy and takes on all capacities so there is practically no room for a full blown panic attack. definitely a lifesaver for me! you're not alone but veery much cared for, i can promise you that! stay safe <3

Awww, this was a great post Sarah! To me personally there is nothing weird or rambly about this audio, in fact, I am very, super proud of you opening up about and sharing your struggles that you’re currently dealing with and that is what makes me so grateful for this community that we all have here, to be able to share how we are actually feeling and to be able to support and uplift each other, and that to me, is an absolutely wonderful blessing. I am very sorry to hear that this week was very rough for you and that it was causing your anxiety to get to you as badly as it did :( 😢 I completely understand how you are currently feeling. I love hearing that you’re trying your best to pay attention to and learning to manage your panic/anxiety which can always seem like an ongoing process. I used to be huge procrastinator myself and still procrastinate from time to time though nowhere near as much as I used to. It’s definitely not a fun feeling when you are always in a rush/panic to try and get things done right before their due. I feel it’s best to just to take everything one small step at a time to avoid overwhelming yourself and to always take some deep breathes to help calm yourself down and relax if you need to so that you can focus a lot better. Another important thing to remember is to try and focus on the small/little things that are within your control and to not worry about stuff that you can’t change. I tend to overthink just about everything a lot myself and sometimes have so much difficulty allowing my mind to rest because of what’s on my mind at the time. Whenever that happens I usually try my best to get my mind to focus on something else for a little while and come back to it once I feel ready to. I don’t think I have much experience with panic attacks or panic disorders but I do know that and especially hearing what you have to go through yourself is really pretty scary. While I have never been officially diagnosed with anxiety or a panic disorder myself, I can definitely relate a lot to your own experiences. Thankfully I am working with a therapist who is helping me try to understand everything that I am going through and hopefully will be able to better manage what I am experiencing. I am also trying my best to cope with what I am experiencing myself using several coping skills such as writing in a journal when I can and taking the time for some self care everyday for which both of those do help me out a lot. Again I am very glad/happy and proud of you to share your own experiences/struggles so that so that we could have a chance to have someone that we can relate to and also very happy to hear that you were able to get the help you absolutely needed to get to manage your panic/anxiety issues and I am hoping all for the best for you in the future Sarah <3 ❤️❤️❤️🫂🫂🫂

Thank you so much Liv ❤️❤️❤️ Journaling is really good! And wow! I've never heard of using ice cubes but it kind of makes sense in one way, as it is likely hard to think about much else than holding something freezing cold. Good tip!! :D

Thank you Donald!! ❤️❤️ You're absolutely right here about trying to focus on your breathing and of the things that are in your control. Your breathing is one of those things! Overthinking is just the worst, I feel ya on that one. But journaling helps! Therapy I think is also so important. And self care ❤️ Thank you for sharing some of your own experiences and struggles here too! It always helps to know you're not alone ❤️
