On today's episode Scott and I engage in a deep conversation about the media, propaganda and the ideas that we're fed in society. But we also talk about people's reaction to Pete Davidson having sex with so many high profile women. I mean come on folks, do we really think this is going to end well? Like we like Pete a lot, I just really hope that he's not being used by Hil- you know what just listen to the episode.

SNL is certainly part of the wider echo chamber of Ammurrican regime media, although you could argue about how much of that is from direct instruction vs. the writers repeating themes they saw on TV news. But yes, there are obvious reasons they only did jingoistic bullshit after 9/11, and didn't touch potential comedy gold like the antics of the dancing Mossad agents. As far as what Malcolm would have to say about celebrating black women solely for their twerking ability; "When you have your own bus, then you have dignity. When you have your own school, you have dignity. When you have your own country, you have dignity. When you have something of your own, you have dignity. But whenever you are begging for a chance to participate in that which belongs to someone else, or use that which belongs to someone else, on an equal basis with the owner, that's not dignity. That's ignorance."

Pete was a surprise opener for Dave Chapelle and Jon Stewart in Houston back in like 2018. I was pretty pumped. I don't watch SNL, but obviously he's a big name in comedy and I've never seen his standup before. And I figured that Chapelle and Stewart put in some quality control for their 6,000 seater arena show. I have literally never seen anyone do a worse 15 minute set. The entire thing was him talking about how little he prepared and how he used to be good at standup. It was shocking. Now, these 15 minutes are all I think about every time I see him on a commercial or someone brings him up on a podcast. This fucking guy is everywhere. 5 years later and I can't move past it. Pete Davidson has ruined my fucking life.

Mike you deserve a far better co-host than Scott who sounded like he was reading a book in the bathtub while recording this.

Mike is always half way to the right point, but then he somehow takes it to ghey lib values and loses the plot lol. He was right about the white people on SNL thing though

It’s not so much that SNL and late night shows need to show “both sides” it’s the refusal to acknowledge that one party is just as out of touch as the other. Don’t pick a side and all, make fun of them both. Most people feel that both parties don’t represent them but only making fun of one party is disingenuous to comedy!

lol this one is great. Although needed Sean for the unabomber talk

Lauren

Happy Birthday, Sean!

I really liked where Mike was going with the Pete Davidson theory that he’s a male version of Marylyn Monroe.

Mike is right. But it's hard to separate what's kinda subconscious programming and what is just a hacky regurgitation of trending topics on twitter or in the cultural consciousness. And if writers aren't given an agenda, there is plenty of opportunity for head writers/producers to shape an agenda with a light editorial touch

i thought one of the things that was cool about the pandemic ending is that we didn't have to hear stilted zoom conversations with delays any more. experiencing conversation through that filter is an MK ultra trigger to me

Mike, did you see skete with emrata at MSG? He either needs to do his own PUA masterclass or his PR team is just the best in the business at keeping him in the headlines by getting them seats together

This is the worst episode you’ve ever done
