Violets JRPG wip 1 (Patreon)

I didnt notice that the poll had ended already but thats ok cuz I kind of figured the Violet idea was going to win, so I had gotten started days ago. Honestly im a little surprised that people pick and suggest ideas with my characters more then ones with characters popular media, its kind of flattering

any ways as for the comic. Young Miss Violet is playing some old JRPG inspired by the likes of Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy and this is kind of how she imagines it. The design of the female hero is heavily inspired by the game "Popful Mail" which I have never played but I love the art, and the villain is a mix of the Dragon Lord in DQ1 and Garland in FF1. Originally I thought of having Miss V's mom show up and shatter her illusion and then making a comment on how she thinks the game is to violent. I'm trying it out with Miss.Vs younger brother because I haven't drawn him in like forever, 2 I figured it makes more sense for a younger sibling to be annoying and ruin her fun and 3 I figured Miss.V's mom would call her daughter by her first name which she dosnt really have so I figured a younger bro would just make fun of her. 

I guess thats all for now, I will probably do another pass to clean things up some more and then start inking
