You paced around the small room. Your head hurts from all the thoughts racing through your mind. What if something happened to Lone man? No, maybe he's just somewhere waiting for the sun to fall once again. Yes, definitely that.

Convincing yourself of a better scenario was no easy task. You glanced through the windows once again. Mustering up every strength and courage that you have, you once again left Lone man's safety.

The sun was harsh. Your vision waved as trails of sweat ran down from your forehead. The feeling was still there. It was as if people were watching you walk naked with their beady eyes. You decided to go back to the church because that's the only place you know that Lone man could seek safety.

As you walked in the vast daisy field, you felt tired—so unbelievably tired for the short distance you traveled. It was as if you were being dragged back by the wind, but of course, there was no wind, only waves of heat.
