You returned the newspaper.

You scanned the bookshelves for anything, but in the end, you found yourself in a small section where pieces of old journals, newspaper articles, and the like were found. You found another newspaper article that focuses solely on missing person reports.

Numerous eyes stared back at you with every flip of the page. Most of them were children; a few of them were young adults. Listed under their photos were their names and the contact number of the family.

"Missing people last seen entering the Old Helios Forest," You mumbled.

You could feel your heart pounding to the point where you had to sit for a minute. You pressed your palm to your forehead. The realization that your photo could've been displayed here if you hadn't gotten out of the forest made you light-headed.

The newspaper was dated fifty years ago.

Does that mean the curse has been around that long? What if it's longer than that?
