You gave in. You jumped over the railing and raced back inside the forest. The air immediately felt so cool; it was refreshing. You looked back at the road, making sure it wasn't going anywhere. The road waved because of the heat. You definitely don't want to go back there, but you had to.

You turned around to get to the lake. Strangely, you can't seem to find the lake. It was visible from the road, but now that you've entered the forest, you can't seem to locate it. You've been walking for a while; the sun is about to go down, but you still can't find it.

You sighed in resignation. You turned around to leave the forest.

The road is nowhere to be seen.

You were once again left alone in the forest to die.
