How do I sign up for SKZ teacher school? Because, pretty sure I would be fluent in Korean, have way better english vocabulary, zero injuries, be a dance boss, abs for days, and actually be able to do math if I had them as my teachers LOL. SIGN ME UPPPPP!!!

Fun bunch of vids, it's always enjoyable watching different performances, segments and interviews of the boys. Definitely good for taking my mind off my current situation.

so how it went down was, skz went radio silent for I think 5 days? Or maybe even longer. Which had never happened before, so stays were already pretty worried. And when they didn't even post anything at all for minho's birthday, it was kind of a confirmation that something was very wrong. And then on october 28th 2019 we suddenly got the notice from jyp that he would be leaving the group as well as the company. That same day or maybe the next, chan posted a letter on the vlive community apologizing for not being able to keep the promise of nine or none, basically just blaming himself for all of it. It was pretty heartbreaking. After that, I think they were silent for a few more days. That time was especially scary for fans, because their future as a group in general seemed very uncertain all of a sudden. We had no idea how they were gonna continue or if they would at all. The first time we heard from them again was a Chan's room episode with all 8 members. Their upcoming comeback at the time (Levanter) had to be postponed cause they had to redo a lot of stuff. And yeah that's basically it. We didn't hear anything from woojin at all until he opened an instagram account a few months later. And his big scandal with the SA accusations and all that was almost a year after he had already left the group, so in september 2020. There was no scandal or anything leading up to his departure. It was completely out of the blue. And seemingly not only for fans but for the company and everyone involved as well because he was included in their upcoming album preparations. So this most def wasn't smth that they had been discussing for a while prior. It been a while so it's a little hard to remember the details, as well as the exact timeline. But this should be accurate for the most part.

It sounds dramatic but i'm honestly still a little traumatized :'D. I can't really listen to double knot (It was released around the time). I just get a weird feeling when I do.

Legit, the whole situation was traumtising and confusing. The radio silence was scary and we had no clue what was going on before that notice. From what I remember your timeline was accurate too, I blank out on that time period a lot

For me it's the not knowing what happened and everyone has to be silent about it. Like I don't get that fully? I completely support artist privacy, but people will have feelings about it if you are a huge public figure, part of a REALLY close team, and remain completely silent about why you left "your dream".....and you can't control how people feel. I'm an All In era Stay so I joined the fam waaaaay later but even for me who went back through all the releases in order and seeing him in all the Double Knot performances/Studio Choom/Relay dance is weird because I know literally less than 3 weeks after those all released he was just like PEACE. without a word. I remember watching the Talkers around that time and that OT8 vlive (again way later than it actually occurred) and I didn't realize the timing but I noticed everyone's vibes were way OFF and finally realized way later when that was released and it all made sense and hurts even though I wasn't around at the time (if that makes sense?) I hope Woojin writes a memoir when he's old and comfortable with it and we can finally know wtf happened because it was just so SUDDEN.

Yeah I know what you mean. I think both parties are keeping quiet about what exactly happened for their own good. Maybe they even have a contract that keeps them from speaking about it. And honestly, i’m okay with never knowing what exactly went down. But the company could have at least allowed the boys to publicly acknowledge that it happened and not force them to act like everything’s normal when we knew that they were going through a hard time. And the fans also couldn’t properly adjust to this change cause we had no idea how the boys were feeling about it. It took quite a long time for the majority of the fandom to understand that the group really no longer wanted to be associated with the guy. It was just a really strange time all around.
