That Bazinga dance break was epic! I love the choreo to this song. They always have such satisfying dances. Sometimes the moves are quite simple, but the execution of them is so strong and powerful and it's extremely satisfying to the eye.

In regards to Kapangyarihan, I would love some insight into your thoughts on the Filipino government, as I said in the video, I know nothing at all. The song was so powerful though, definitely brought a tear to my eye seeing how emotional and passionate they are in this performance video.

And omg lastly... what a throwback! I haven't listened to NSYNC in so long! Such classic songs haha

What i know that Kapangyarihan was written by Ben & Ben except for the rap part of SB19, because of a police office who was drunk then pulled a woman’s hair and just shoot her in an instant.

Ben&Ben was a vocal supporter of one of the female candidate that time. Unfortunately, she did not win :( she is our “the one that got away” :( even now, there are people who are still devastated by the results. But yea we’re surviving. Anyways, thanks for this rv!

If you've only seen SB19's performance of Kapangyarihan at Ben & Ben's online concert, it was so intense. I've only seen clips but got goosebumps. I'd wanted to buy concert rerun tix just to see that 1 song, but they only did rerun for free to those who originally bought. :(

Kapangyarihan is a cry for good governance. The PH has a long history of corruption and abuse of power which can be traced back from the 60s to the 80s. Basically this dude was president (then dictator) for 20+ years and most known for declaring martial law in order to silence his critics (like forever 🤐⚰️💀 ), stay in power longer, and put more money in his pockets (disguised as to "keep order" and "fight communism"). Long story short, this dude was ousted by the people during the People Power Revolution in '86 (which my mom was a part of). Fast forward to this day, the corrupt dude's son is the President of the country which is controversial for a number of reasons including: 1) the fact that history is repeating itself. There were/are attempts by the fam to paint the Marcos' 20+ year regime in a more positive light, tryna rewrite history.; 2) he lies about his college degree from Oxford even tho the school already released a statement that they have no records of the dude graduating there lol. Meanwhile his opponent who lost has creds, no record of corruption, has a solid plan for rebuilding the PH. She now runs an NGO and continues to serve the people even though she's not "in power". She's the candidate that Ben&Ben proudly endorsed. Historians claim that the fam stole so much money that they are one of the biggest reasons why PH is still a third-world country and is having a hard time defeating corruption and recovering from the debt incurred in the 60s to 80s. It doesn't help that the fam hasn't given any of their ill-gotten wealth back to the people and laughs it off during interviews. 😬🪦
