finally some animation! (Patreon)

Happy new year everybody! Here's a little patreon-exclusive assembly of recent WIP shots from the next Sublo and Tangy Mustard episode for you. I know it's been a bit of a dry spell lately but I promise I'm working on it! The holidays did slow me down a bit, but overall the animation for this one is probably about 1/3 complete. The ep is called "Nightclub" and it's a beast-- definitely the longest one yet and probably the most ambitious, but I think it will also be one of the more satisfying ones. Lots of  wacky chaos as well as some juicy character stuff. As usual, a lot of the craziest animation is basically done straight-ahead. I usually start with the frame/ section of the shot where the character is the most static, and make sure they're on-model there-- so then I can veer off into weirdness knowing I have a solid "anchor."
