Last week I was interviewed by OCAD student Liz Adler (@sideshowleonardcohen on instagram). We talked for an hour about my approach to animation, my experiences making indie work like Sublo and Tangy Mustard as well as directing on BoJack and Tuca & Bertie, balancing work and personal life, and a lot more. She asked a lot of smart, interesting questions that I don't usually get asked in interviews. Some of it is specific advice for her as a student, but a lot of it is more relevant to my work and the general animation industry, so I asked if I could share it here and she said yes. Above are a few excerpts, and attached as a PDF is the full 15 page-version.
