Hey here's a collection of some rough and pre-colour animation from the first season of Sublo and Tangy Mustard (episodes 1-4). I don't usually do roughs for most shots on the series-- to get the episodes done faster, I mostly just jump straight into final animation. But for certain shots I still block things out loosely. I may have shared some of these shots on here years ago, I can't remember.

I love these behind-the-scenes look! I notice in the 26 second mark you numbered 1-3 for Sublo saying "would you like sandwiches?" I'm wondering what the numbers symbolize. Mouth charts?

I think the numbers represented the tracebacks I intended to draw during cleanup-- They're just there to remind me that it's not supposed to be a held image, but a loop of tracebacks (like I did with Fester Fish) to keep the lines boiling and feeling alive.
