New year update (Patreon)

Happy new year! Whoops, once again it's been a while since I updated you on my progress. Sorry about that! I had a good time over the holidays visiting friends and family, and I hope you all did too.

Over the past couple of months I've been tinkering with the storyboards for the next two Sublo and Tangy Mustard episodes. I'm pretty happy with them now and am ready to move forward with actual production. While I was in Toronto over the holidays I was also able to record the show's first "guest star," Jesse Brown -- the host of one of my favourite podcasts, Canadaland. He'll be appearing in episode 15 in a strange role.

I'm also putting together artbook PDFs for Sublo and Tangy Mustard, which will cover some of the early concepts, writing, character and environment designs, thumbnail boards and maybe some frame-by-frame key animation from selected shots like in Gainax's Groundwork artbooks. They'll be free to patrons who pledge $5 and up, and also available on Gumroad for the same price.

All this is coming in the not-too-distant future, but in the meantime here's a page of Sublo and Tangy Mustard doodles I recently did for my friends who are making "Hand Drawn" a documentary about 2D animation.

I've also attached a song that I've had sitting around on my computer for a while. I've got loads more music sitting around but I don't know if people care to hear it.  Let me know!
