mini-music video - "It's All Around You" (Patreon)

I've been pals with Toronto indie band Beams for a long time-- I've done bits of animation and art for them over the years, and one of the members is my friend Heather, who plays Katy in Sublo and Tangy Mustard. Anyway they had me do a bit of animation for their new song It's All Around You. We decided to just do a section of the song with some simple loops that could be repurposed as needed for various platforms. I went more symbolic than I typically do, and decided to focus more on colour and texture than detail. Here's the basic animation I submitted!
