First of all, thanks for giving your feedback on the most recent poll. And even if you didn't respond to the poll, thanks for being a patron and funding these crazy projects. Your support and feedback guides these things and makes them possible.

Based on the results of the poll, I definitely get the vibe that game development AND art are still both VERY important. I still have to calm down from the crazy amount of tech work I threw in during February and early March, but it's clear that everything done is still valued. I'll also call out that a lot of people also want even more development into the game. That still tell me that my plan to shift game development from 'month-on/month-off' to 'continuous-with-art-breaks' is a good call.

I also just finished a big private art piece, so that will hopefully free up more time for stream time too. Art Streams are still where I usually get the most time to focus, and I'll be happy to get that going.

Does anything change?

From an external Patreon perspective, no. I'm still alternating art polls and game dev polls at the beginning of each month, I still put up new sketches at the end of every month, and I'm still collecting ideas/requests from Influencers once a month. You may see more sporadic polls oriented around game direction, but I may have to reel back on what I put to a poll.

From game development, yes. I'll keep working on the Cursed Game at a continuous pace instead of month-on/month-off. I have to be cautious about promises and deadlines for game updates and move toward a 'when-its-done' model. Eventually, I want to get to a point where I can throw a monthly 'new curse' in the game, but the project doesn't have enough to support that rate of content. It's likely that I reel back a lot of the original plan for Cursed Game and focus more on the simple dungeon-crawler rogue-like with oodles of transformations.

From art and art polls, yes. I'm going to aim simple. I still have bimonthly art polls, but I'll keep the results focused, and more often work through art streams to keep on top of it. It's less likely that art from art polls will expand into multiple images or into a large-scale painted piece like before. I promise to still keep it good!

Anything else?

It's sad. I want to put more time into more art and more game content, but I have a stressful job and a stressful life to still balance. Once I finally get my shot and things open up, I'm going to find myself with a lot less free time to play with, and I'm going to have to re-balance what I can offer on Patreon. I just hope I can get Cursed Game "done enough" that people are happy with what made it in.

In the future, I may want to side-step Cursed Game and make a more focused experience using a lot of the same framework already built. It's difficult to allow depth into a specific transformation when the game deliberately takes an 'anything-goes' approach. I've always wondered what kinds of stories could be told with a single, specific, slower UDTF (Were-lizard dating sim?). However, doing a full game direction change is the type of larger question I'd rather prove out first with a quick prototype before putting it to a poll.

Just throwing the thought out there for now.
