Hello everyone! The Furality team has been hard at work putting together something very special for the Furality Luma Festival. Today I would like to share with you guys a behind-the-scenes look at some of the concept art that captures the unique design for the festival and the creativity of the artists.

One of the artists on our illustration team is Neo, otherwise known as Tokyozilla. When it comes to world building, a few of the many important aspects to keep in mind are design and aesthetic. Neo has been coming up with some unique concepts for foliage in the Luma Festival worlds. Some of these foliage designs will have emissive effects and also act as lighting in the spaces where these concepts are applied.

Neo describes the inspiration behind these creations with the following: "When it comes to creating concepts for plants and wildlife, what I enjoy doing to help with brewing ideas for potential concepts is looking to real life plants and the many incredible shapes and colors they all come in. It's an absolute must to refer to in real life subjects and how things naturally work together for me to then piece and sew together something unique and intriguing. I have a minor background in horticulture and have personally grown to appreciate the forms plant life can come in and I think it's something that has helped me with my ability to conceptualize organic forms such as plants. "

Neo has also developed some concepts for Avatar pedestals that will be used for the avatar showcase. There is still work being done in preparation for Furality Luma Festival. We are very excited and can’t wait to see you all there in February!
