I began to study the topic of neural networks and content processing using them. I increased the resolution and also tried to artificially soften the animation by increasing the framerate. In the attached files are the original animation, animation with an increased resolution up to 4k and it is also with an increased frame rate and a minimum artifacts that I managed to do.

In my opinion, it makes sense to use upscale in the future, but increasing the frame rate only makes it worse. In any case, I want to hear your opinion.

People need to realize that videos in 4k 60fps will take much longer to render, too, i.e. there will be fewer releases to enjoy.

This is fake 4k 60 fps made using neural networks. Calculation of this animation ,without render itself, took about 2 hours. If render it in real 60 fps 4k then it will take at best 6 times more time. I think upscale anims in this way is worth it.

I think the attached 4k 60fps file is not 60fps..

Maelic

Definitely okay with interpolated renders, 24hz is just unbearable

do we all agree on the superiority of this animation over everything that has been done so far?

Maybe my PC isn't displaying it, but the 60fps version doesn't seem to actually move at 60fps.

For me, the original 1080p24 file looks the most... true to your vision for the video. The 4k24 file looks to have considerable ghosting effects however does have a noticeable quality increase. The 4k60 file also has a step up in terms of quality, but again still shows what looks like poor-quality motion blur to me. Viewed all files on both a 1080p60 monitor and a 1440p144 one and it's the same with both. If you can figure out a way to get rid of the motion-blur/ghosting effects, I think it'd be the way to go. It seems like something that'd be most noticeable in scenes with more movement. Perhaps look into interpolation to get your original renders up to a 60fps standard, offering an alternative 4k24fps for those looking for higher quality that don't care about a frame-rate/smoothness increase. Just my thoughts.
