the mentor of my triton bard Kuikatzu

this lady got contracted to investigate a site where a ton of ships where occacionally sinking, they didnt know whaat it was but they where speaking about hearing singing and chanting before the ships sank, only a few survivors made it back alive to tell the tale and they mentioned it being a siren, a siren that was hungry for souls and had a thousand teeth ready to devour us all

being all about music this peaked her curiosity, decided to go with no party to speak off because she could handle charming sirens pretty easily, but what she found was way more interesting, she assumed somebody was usuing bardic powers or a monster nest was in some trade route, but it was a triton killing for sport, and she didnt even use bard stuff, it was al theatrics, all mirrors and smoke to confuse and hinder sailors

so of course her first thought was "wait if you can do all this without music magic... imagine what you *could* do WITH IT" so she captured her, subdued her and convinced her to become a bard to use her instrument and vocal talent for something way more impressive, something that may have some actual substance in the world, something good

and this lady's absolute beaming positivism turned even the most murder gremlin kuikatzu into a somewhat functioning member of society, one where kuikatzu wanted to atone for her sins, to be a good person after the attrocities she commited, and is working towards it
