Armored Lady Monday Team Gladiator grunt (Patreon)

sorry for the delay post, i thought i posted it before, BUT

since friday when i saw detective pikachu, i was thinking what *i* would do if i was in charge of the design of a new pokemon game, and to fit the theme for armored lady monday i decided to draw the team/grunt i came up with, Team Gladiator

a group of toxic competitors of pokemon battles, i was thinking this team was less an evil team and more of a, logical extreme team, they are not "bad" but their shierruthlessness in battle have made the community around them aggresive and lose the way of "hey, pokemon battles can be fun too" 

if i had the reigns of a game, i wouldnt show this team until mid late game, they would all have 6 pokemon, they have a favorite "type" but their teams are varied and complementary to each other, they would have taken over the league because they are really good at pokemon fights and have had a legacy of Gladiator champions, culminating in the elite four being part of this team all the way up to the champion being the leader of the team, in an intense battle of ideals of meta battles vs having a good time while also being really good

i came up with this bcus it allways feels weird specially in the newer games where the evil team wants to destroy the planet???? and then you end the apocalypse and then go to your leasurely pace towards the elite 4 that ends up feeling like a second thought yknow

but if you have a team that is actually good at pokemon battles instead of criminals i think that would be a nice change of pace for at least the one game

and its also about showing people that bad sportsmanship is.. yknow....... bad haha
