my High elf Paladin thats lorewise half high elf half drow elf but has the stats of high elf, and for the purposes of this particular campaign that im currently playing i de-edgyfy her origins, instead of being a child that was bullied and ignored to oblivion for being a bastard that was half drow broke her spirit, she found some semblance of happiness and purpose on gods path to try to end the prejudice and racism deep seeded in her hometown, that was a bit too hardcore for the kind of sessions we where having haha.

 this version of caelynn was born in a wealthy family that runs one of the biggest casinos in the world, her absolute love of gambling instead of the idea of getting insanely rich via gambling that her family holds made her drift away little by little from her family, finding some hapiness to the point of going away to figure out what she wants to do, while following a homebrewed goddess of gambling that i had a lot of fun making haha
