Weekly Report (Patreon)

Good afternoon,

finally weekend or at least almost! Time to get the past week summed up.

The release Monday night was a big relief for me. I've been working the whole month very strictly to get the quest for Lyvia completed and it's always a good feeling when all graphics and pictures that were prepared earlier click together and you can actually see everything working. Well...almost working, there have been some bugs that thanks to your help have been sorted out by now. Just yesterday I released another hotfix in case you didn't notice already.
Tuesday was then all about fixing and updating the walkthrough.

On Wednesday I finally had time to start working on Arianna's bonus scene. I began with working on new textures for Arianna. and continued with new sprites and dialogue images. Yesterday I then started working on new animations for the scene.
In the end I made 7 + transititions. These of course now also have to be edited and then put into the game which is what I'm currently working on.
I hope I get them all completed by the evening so that I can then do the dialogue writing on Monday.
The release of the bonus scene is also planned on Monday...It will probably get late again but I hope I manage to complete it then. If for some reason it takes longer I will let you know in a comment here and on Discord.

Because it took much longer than originally planned to get 0.5.2.0 done, the work on Tia's update has now been delayed. At the beginning of this month I had hoped that this last week of the month would already be focussed on Tia. But in the end It was more important to me to get the quest around the Raven to a conclusion so that Lyvia doesn't have to be on the poll again for said quest while also adding in something new in terms of gameplay mechanics. The work on the mercenary system took definitly longer than I anticipated which is the main reason the update took so long to make.

Anyway, when the bonus scene is done I will directly begin with Tia's content. More about that on the coming Friday when hopefully the first maps are already done.
