Weekly status report (Patreon)

Good evening,

the week is coming to an end and with it it's time for a short update on my progress.

The first thing I did was to finally finish the map to the south of Arenfield. After that I implemented it together with Anya's house map. The next step then was to set up positions for Anya and also make new sprites for her.
I've then worked on new enemies (sprites, battlers, skills) and also on skills for the MC that he will be able to learn from Corven.
Another thing I wanted to add for a long time was some weapons which you would only able to craft if you could get needed parts from enemies. So this was another thing I started to work on.

The problem with all these things was that I kind of got a bit too much into it and forgot to work on the actual story for Anya. So yesterday I went back to that and continued with it.
This morning I was still certain to get the update done today, but as time went by, it dawned on me that I would need more time.

So to cut it short: I will continue a bit longer today and work on some events but it won't be possible to complete the update today. By now I'm not even sure if Monday is a realistic release date since I wanted to add at least 1-2 new animations (which I have started to work on, but they aren't finished yet) to the update to make it worth playing.
I will release the update next week as soon as it's ready and then spend the remaining time of the month to make another update which will then probably be released on the 31.
