This week had a lot of up and downs.
I started completing Penny's house map and implemented it into the game. Then I added some more ingame sprites and also implemented the reworked character images for Verena that you voted for last month.

And then came the farming system.. After I had it worked out with new sprites for growing crops, new items and a system to change tools like (watercan, scythe, seeds) I added a script that would help to manage all the different crops and provided a hud to display which tool is currently used.. All of this worked perfectly.. But only for a newly started game. On an already existing save file it threw error after error and even though I tried to fix them I wasn't able to.. The script needs to initialize some of it's values on a new game start and isn't able to set them on an exisiting save.

Because I don't want to break current save files I had to throw all the work on this system out of the window and start over. I'm currently still working on it and I plan to finish this later today.

Next week I want to start working on the actual story and dialogue. With Penny's story I want to give the player another place to stay at right after the intro. If all goes as planned the first part of this will be ready to play at the end of next week and my goal is to release the complete update on the 19. of june. We will see how it goes and I will keep you updated as always.

Could do 2 versions as well possibly, 1 version earlier with the system that needs a new save and then you could take the rest of the month to fix a version that can use old saves
