Chapter 7: Training

___________________________________________________________________

-  Flinn -

“Flinn.” Rias called me as we tried to sleep.

“Hmm?”

“Tell me something about your childhood?”

“My childhood?”

“Hmm.”

“Eh….it wasn’t as fun as you might think.”

“Really?”

“Hmm. Except Onee-chan and to some extent Grandma whom I rarely saw, the others were more like business associates. I get along better with my classmates at Kuoh than them.”

“You don’t get along with any of your classmates except Yuuto.”

“Exactly my point.”

Her lips parted in a bit of shock and then a look of slight pity came to her eyes before it went away and she cuddled into me even more.

I welcomed her.

“What about others? Sona? I heard you have a bit of a history with her.” She smiled and changed the depressing topic.

My face blanched at the mention of the girl.

“Yeaaaaaaah about her. If you think this world’s Sona is stubborn, you haven’t met her yet.”

“Oh, what happened with her?”

“I was six or seven years old at that time and she was making a name in Chess. I had just learned the game and I challenged her. There was no engagement nonsense either.”

“And then?”

“I won, obviously. It was a good game so I challenged her again. This happened a few times before one day I saw tears in her eyes after losing a match. I was so scared that the Magical Girl Menace would come after me that I quickly made an excuse and left. After that I avoided her challenges. And you wouldn’t believe the extent to which she followed me. Once she came over and stayed for a week at our home just to find me. She had entered my room at six in the morning. It’s a good thing I practised from very early in the morning and was able to escape her. She chased me for five whole years. The number of hiding places I had to make in the Gremory mansion alone were insane. Can you believe that?”

….

“I mean I know that Sona can be a bit competitive but… Just how many times did you beat her to make her react like that?”

The corner of my lips twitched.

She noticed this.

“How many times, Flinn?”

“A few…”

“A few?”

“...hundred.”

….

“That’s…” Her mouth was wide open by now. “And you won all the matches.”

“Yup.” I smiled proudly. “It was 515 to 0 in my favour.”

“...poor Sona.”

“What poor Sona? Do you know how annoying it was to run away all the time?”

“...yes. I kinda pity her. And…she…I mean Ria, did she know?”

“A bit. She thought it was cute watching Sona chase after me. I love Onee-chan, you know. You can wake me up in the middle of the night and ask and I would say the same but, I really don’t know what goes on in her mind sometimes.”

She blushed a bit at the confession and then giggled.

“You will know when you have a younger sibling of your own.”

“I guess I will wait till then.” I shrugged.

We talked about several other things all night and by the time we slept, it was already dawn.

She was exhausted and quickly fell asleep.

The next day, I got up with Rias entangled with me on my side.

It made me reluctant to move but I had promised to teach Yuuto and the rest about the Breathing Techniques.

So, with great difficulty, I forced myself to get out of the grip of my little Onee-chan.

At the same time the door to the room opened and it was… Sakuya.

“Good Morning.” I greeted slowly to not disturb Rias.

“Good Morning. You have training scheduled in an hour.” She reminded me.

“I know. I was just about to get ready.” I answered.

She came in front of me and I looked up.

What I didn’t expect was her leaning forward and placing a kiss on my lips.

“Your good morning kiss as you had asked.” She replied stoically but I could see the glint of mischief in her eyes so I decided to reply in kind.

I pulled her into my lap and planted a deep kiss on her lips.

She didn't pull back and reciprocated with equal vigour.

– Rias –

She woke up to the sounds of someone’s muffled voice beside her.

Still in a state of half sleep she slightly opened her eyes to see a sight which pushed aside all her sleep in a matter of seconds.

Grayf… no, that’s Sakuya. It was still hard to understand the difference between them. And with her was… Flinn.

The usually strict and stoic looking Sakuya was…

She was somehow even stricter than Grayfia. Onii-sama had once joked that the only person stricter than Grayfia can be Grayfia herself and it had come true in a weird way.

But that same woman was right now sitting and grinding herself on the lap of her little brother and sucking his face.

She knew that they were in a relationship but to see it like this.

They were about to move so she quickly closed her eyes and pretended to sleep.

“You seem a little stressed.” She heard Sakuya’s voice.

“And whose fault is that?” Flinn complained softly.

“Oh? Is this because of me? I guess I will have to take some kind of responsibility for this then?”

“Rias is sleeping.”

“Ah… so I guess you won’t be needing any assistance today.”

“You… come here. I will show you the consequences of teasing me.”

She heard the sound of him pulling her towards himself and felt her falling on the bed on the other side of Flinn.

He shifted and she moved lightly to cover her face behind her arm to see from behind the cover of her arm.

Flinn was sitting on the bed and Sakuya was between his legs.

His… thing was completely erect. It looked totally different from last night when they had slept together.

He put a hand on Sakuya’s cheek and then slowly went behind her head to grab her hair and push her towards it. She already seemed to know of his intentions and slowly and gently kissed the tip before bringing her tongue out and giving the tip a lick.

While still having a stoic look on her face, there was a hint of smile and a gentleness in her eyes as she took care of Flinn.

“Aghh.” Flinn moaned lightly to which she looked up at him with a slight smile on her face. But before he could do anything, she got back to his member, this time giving the whole length a long lick from top to the bottom.

The whole scene was making Rias dizzy, especially with the faces of the people involved.

She knew it was wrong to spy on them like that but she still couldn’t take her eyes away from the scene.

She found herself getting hot and resisted rubbing her thighs with great difficulty because she could feel her wetness down there.

Sakuya opened her mouth and took the whole tip in as she turned her eyes to look at him. Flinn’s grip on her hair tightened and he pushed her down more.

The two were lost in their own words.

Sakuya moved up and down. The whole length was getting covered by her saliva, making it shine.

Her speed increased and she could hear sounds of gagging and Flinn's muffled moans in between.

After what seemed like an eternity, he spoke. "Get ready."

He gripped her hair and pushed her down on his length.

She too held his waist and didn't back down.

Flinn thrusted into her mouth a few times and then shivered while letting out a sigh of pleasure. He came.

A few moments later, he released her hair and she pulled back, not before cleaning his whole thing with her tongue. She then used her magic to clean themselves and looked back at him again.

The look on their faces was something she hadn't seen yet. Even Sakuya didn’t have her professional look on.

The way they were looking at each other was more than enough proof of the love between them.

He pulled her in for a kiss and she went along with equal enthusiasm. When they separated, there was a thin strand of saliva between their lips.

“Will that be all?” She asked, putting on her mask of professionalism again.

“No. Not even close. I still need help bathing.” He smirked.

She rolled her eyes openly at this and got down from the bed and walked towards the bathroom.

He watched her and then turned towards her. She quickly closed her eyes as she felt a hand caressing her head.

A moment later, he too got down and she heard the door of the bath close.

She slowly opened her eyes to see the empty room and finally let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding.

Her heart was beating like never before and as she recalled the previous scene, her hands went between her things, caressing her own wetness.

She jerked at the unexpected stimulus from it.

Her last thought before going into relieving herself was… ’that was hot’.

- Flinn -

I was in the training grounds a bit away from the Gremory estate.

In front of me stood several people.

All of Rias’s peerage, Kuroka, Shuri and last but not the least Souji.

Grandma, Zeoticus, Sirzechs and Venelana, who firmly insisted that I call her mother, were seated on a nearby table, being served tea by Sakuya. Onee-chan was sitting with them.

A moment later, few others came in.

It was Grayfia with Milicas.

The little guy was looking at everything with eyes full of amazement.

We still hadn’t gotten time to introduce ourselves to each other.

Grayfia led him to us and gave her a light push on his back.

He hesitated a bit before coming forward and bowing. “Hello. My name is Milicas Gremory. Nice to meet you all.”

He looked adorable.

“Umm…” He looked at me.

“Yes.”

“Are you my big brother?”

Brother?

Ah yes. He called Rias big sister instead of aunt due to the small difference in their ages.

I guess it was better as I didn’t want to be called uncle. I was too young for that shit.

“Yes. My name is Flinn Gremory. Nice to meet you too Milicas.” I caressed his head lightly.

He seemed to be around 9 years old.

“I saw you on the TV. Everyone was saying that you made the new moon. Did you really?” the kid burst into an excited round of questions with a starry look in his eyes...

“I did.” I answered.

“That’s so cool!”

“Hahahaha I guess it is. Are you here to watch us train?”

He nodded.

“How about you join in?”

He looked excited but still looked at Grayfia first. “Can I join them in their training, Mother?”

She looked at me and I gave her a nod and she nodded at him in return, making him follow me excitedly.

With our newest member, we began our training.

“Alright. We will start with something simple at the start. It’s a technique called Total Concentration Breathing.” I looked at them and started.

“Normally, when we breathe, it’s quite wasteful. We cannot use all of the oxygen we take in. Total Concentration Breathing is the process of inhaling optimum volumes of oxygen through specific breathing patterns in a manner that pushes the users physical and mental faculties to their absolute limits. It’s a simple but very effective way to increase our base stats by a lot. It’s enough to enable a normal human to fight on the level of a low class being easily should they master it.”

Seeing that they had no questions, I continued.

“The technique itself might seem elementary but it is hard to master. So don’t slack off. If done properly, it can be learned in two weeks of dedicated effort. The best part about this technique is that it scales with your own base stats which means the stronger you are, the more the increase will be so do not underestimate the technique. Not only that, it constantly improves the fitness of the user till they reach a certain level.”

- Rias(F) -

Everyone listened to his explanation on Total Concentration Breathing.

She remembered the time when she had tried to learn the technique herself. She had done so to keep the heart of her kid brother but she really hadn’t expected the technique to be so effective. It was the first time she had realised the true extent of Flinn’s genius.

“That’s a very convenient technique. Did he invent it by himself?”

“At the age of eight.”

“That’s incredible. How did the entire family not notice something like this?” Grandmother asked, surprised.

“They were not paying attention. And Flinn didn’t want their attention either. He never told anyone about this. I was the only one who was taught this technique till he got his first Peerage Member.”

“Sigh. Those blind people, not recognising such a priceless gem.”

The whole group got into their training.

“I think you all should learn this too. It doesn’t take much but the increase in power is quite substantial.” She advised them.

“Hmm, let’s see the children for now. I am more interested in that Haki technique though.” Grandmother said.

“Haki? Do you mean the Conqueror’s Haki?”

“Any type of Haki seems like a good idea. But yes.”

“Conqueror’s Haki is different from the other two. According to Flinn, one needs to be born with it and it’s not something which can be learned.”

“Oh, is that so? Then I guess I will have to try and see if it’s suitable for me.”

“Will Milicas be…”

“Flinn mastered these techniques when he was younger than Milicas and while Haki might be a bit hard for the current him, I would still advise everyone to push him to learn at least Observation. It’s a technique which can save his life one day.”

“I see. In that case we will set aside some time from his schedule to learn it. Grayfia.” Sirzechs said.

“Yes. I will see to it.”

“Still, these are all physical techniques. What about his magic? We haven’t seen anything apart from the Flame Healing and his bloodline powers.”

“His Magic is not suitable for people to learn without enough preparation. In fact, the mental boost from the Total Concentration Breathing will help them learn it.”

“What kinds of Magic can he do?”

“He has created more than one system of Magic. For the first one, he mainly uses a combination of Physical and Spiritual energies in a one to one ratio. He calls it Chakra and controls it with hand signs similar to how the Onmyoji and Ninja use their techniques. He was into Ninja during those years and decided to make something similar for himself. This energy can be used to create several unique and useful techniques...”

Just at that time, he created several shadow clones to guide each of them individually.

“What’s that?” His father asked, interested.

“Those are one such technique. The Shadow Clone Jutsu. Those are energy constructs made from his energy.” She explained briefly.

“Each of them seem to have a brain of their own. Autonomous clones?” Mother asked.

“Yes. In fact Shadow Clones are extremely useful. So much so that even someone like Flinn calls them a cheat.”

“I would think so. Having several of them act together, would be a great diversion.”

“Oh they are much more than a diversion. While each of them might only have a part of Flinn’s energy, they all have each bit of knowledge and intelligence of Flinn. Not only that, each of them have equal physical capabilities as him.”

“Equal?” Her father asked, surprised.

“Yes.”

“With his physical power… I can see why he would call them a cheat.” Sirzechs commented.

“Oh he doesn’t call them a cheat for that reason. While it’s true that Flinn could use it to a devastating degree, those clones are very weak in their durability. One good hit to them and they get dispelled. Obviously doing such a thing against something with Flinn’s capabilities would still be hard but they have another function. Something which far surpasses these uses.”

“What?”

“They feed back the memory to the main body when they are dispelled.”

She let her words sink down their heads.

And as expected, the first one to react was Sirzechs. “But that would mean…”

“He can learn things much faster. In fact, he can do any work much faster. He had invented this technique to escape doing homework.” She giggled. She made a hand sign and a clone appeared beside her. “I find it very useful for doing paperwork too”

Sirzechs’ eyes widened and he looked dumbly at him before closing his eyes and taking a deep breath.

“I think I should accompany them in training too. It would boost the confidence of the kids.” He said while already getting up.

No one stopped him either.

The surprise came next when Father got up as well. “I mean, Sirzechs is right.”

Others followed as well.

She looked at Grayfia. “You can spend more time with Milicas with this technique.”

Grayfia nodded slightly in realisation.

And thus, everyone stepped into the training ground while she talked with grandmother.

“Do you think we have a chance against the dangers of the future Rias?” Grandmother asked, after a period of silence.

“Yes. It might be low right now… but we do have a chance… and he’s standing right in front of us.”

- Sirzechs -

He tried to get a hang of the leaf sticking exercise while he waited for his fellow Satans to arrive but somehow, whenever he tried to concentrate too hard, the leaf was destroyed by his Power of Destruction.

It was frustrating.

Flinn had suggested putting a seal on his powers while he practised but he didn't always have that privilege with his post as a Satan.

It would take a long time to learn such a technique because of his enormous Demonic Power reserves.

Sigh.

And he thought he had finally found an easy way out of the mess known as paperwork.

The next week was the meeting of the Three Factions where he had to give an explanation for the Naberius Incident.

The Three Factions had a very complicated relationship. On one hand, they were enemies and fought with each other at every step but on the other, they stood together to fight against any threat to their rules too.

All of this was based on a balance.

Recently, they have been trying to bring a close to all the war between the factions and establish peace and from the things he had heard from Rias, it seemed that such a day would come in the future if things went well.

He needed to make sure that the recent changes didn’t change that. With the threats coming in the future, they needed to step up and work together with the sole goal of defeating the enemies.

Another leaf was destroyed as he lost concentration for a moment.

He let out a sigh but picked up another leaf and put it on his forehead.

Just at that moment, the door to the room opened and his fellow Satans walked in.

“Is that a new hobby of yours?” Serafall asked, looking at him practising.

“This dear Sera, is my solution to getting rid of my greatest enemy of all… paperwork.”

“Huh?” Looking at the dumbfounded looks on their faces, he explained. “It’s the method to train one of Flinn’s new Magic Systems and the first step to learning the technique which will get rid of all paperwork from my office forever hahahaha.”

“… you know Zechs-chan. You might be the Lucifer and what not but… you really can’t sell that evil villain laugh.”

Sigh.

“What technique exactly?” Falbium asked, interested for once. Ajuka didn’t ask anything but his look was obvious.

It was magic and a new one at that. No way he wouldn’t be uninterested.

So he went on and explained to them about the Shadow Clone Jutsu.

“How interesting. And all of them are autonomous? Can they not rebel?”

“They can just be dispelled by the user but they consider the user their boss. Even call them as such.”

“And they can pass on the knowledge or to be more precise, information to the user when they are destroyed or are dispelled?”

“Yes.”

“Does that also include the information about the pain and fatigue?” Falbium asked.

“Unfortunately. Too many of them can give anyone a headache. Fortunately for Flinn, he can just use his Phenex Magic to rejuvenate himself.”

“How many can he make?”

“I don’t know the exact numbers but he could make around five hundred or so a year ago.”

“Five Hundred! Five hundred of that little destroyer at once.” Serafall exclaimed.

“It would technically be five hundred and one but that’s not the important thing.” Ajuka interrupted.

“Not important? How would that not be important?! A single one of them destroyed a mountain range with his swordsmanship!”

“Again, there are many factors involved in this too. They are fragile and the information backlash could fry a normal devil’s brain if all of them were to be destroyed at the same time. I would assume that they are energy intensive too.” Ajuka waved her off before turning back to him. “How exactly do we learn this?”

At that point, the other two became quiet and looked at him and he explained the basics in detail.

“That is a lot of work. Mastering a whole new type of energy to even get started with it.” Falbium yawned.

“But it will be worth it. So, how do you start? Merging the physical and spiritual energies? How exactly do we do that?” Serafall asked.

He repeated the method to her while Ajuka conjured his Kankara Formula and picked up a leaf from his drawer, placing it on his forehead.

It stuck.

He then looked at him. “What’s the next step?”

….

“That’s cheating!”

_________________________________x__________________________________

“What exactly are you going to tell them? Will they even believe in us? We only did so because of Ajuka’s stu… code. Never thought there would come a day when I would see it coming to use.” Serafall asked him.

They had taken notes about how to get started with Chakra while Ajuka, who was suddenly ahead of everyone with just fifteen minutes of practice, decided to have a talk with Flinn and exchange spells.

He had been trying to get that damn leaf stuck for days and it still got destroyed every time and Ajuka gets it done in fifteen minutes.

Sigh.

Really, people shouldn’t compare themselves with geniuses.

He shook his stray thoughts away and concentrated on the situation in front of him.

“We just have to give them enough information to make them believe. The copy of Longinuses would be a great start. Other than that, maybe, have Flinn making a show of his ability to travel through Dimensions.”

“That’s dangerous.”

“The situation is already a desperate one. The Machine and Spirit Gods won’t wait for us to take things slow. We need to start collaborating with each other with a focused goal as soon as possible. And that won’t happen if there is no trust between us. It would also help us explain about the situation without causing more problems.”

“Sigh. You are just as troublesome as your little brother.” Serafall complained.

“I think it’s for the best too. While we might have a few other ways and could reveal the information at a much more comfortable pace, we don’t have that privilege anymore. With the change in the present time, the future will also change and since we can’t know what will happen for sure, it’s for the best if we prepare for the worst case scenario.” Ajuka said.

“What we can do in the meanwhile is that we can gather people with great potential and get them on our side. We can also try to look as well as invent things which can aid us in our goal. Last but not the least, I talked with both Ria and Flinn and… I wish to make a team of talented individuals who can go to other worlds and find ways to strengthen ourselves. This also helps us to search for a place to retreat should all things go south.”

“That’s…”

The room descended into a period of silence.

Abandoning the Underworld was something no one had even considered but if extinction was the only option… then maybe, finding a retreat was not that bad of an alternative for the worst case scenario.

“I see. Let’s prepare for the meeting then. I still need to inform them of the venue.”

“The venue will be the same as the last time, Kuoh Academy.” He said.

With the venue decided, all of them began to prepare for the meeting.

- Flinn -

It’s been a week since I started training everyone in the Total Concentration Breathing method.

A few people were starting to get a hang of the technique already.

Souji, Yuuto and Koneko surprisingly were the first ones to get a hang of the technique.

The others were also getting there but it would take them time.

Milicas was surprisingly quite good.

He didn’t have physical fitness rivalling others but he was certainly the most enthusiastic one of them all.

Sirzechs and Grayfia left all of his training to me.

And that was saying something since they had access to the strongest Peerage in the Underworld.

That night, both Onee-chan and I had a long chat with Sirzechs about what steps we needed to take in the future, what we needed to do in case all this was useless and we are about to lose.

I have to say that he was actually putting a lot of thought into all this.

Finally, it was decided that we would collaborate with the members of the other two factions and search for ways to empower ourselves as well as a possible retreat in case things really went south.

I decided to make a game plan as well.

To open a portal to other worlds, I needed an anchor.

Without an anchor, I would have no control over the destination and it could be any world out there, dangerous worlds, worst case scenario, we might invite something much worse than the threats we are trying to avoid.

Currently, I had only one anchor which didn’t belong to my previous world.

It was the chakra we had collected from the Rinnegan before it had merged with my body.

This chakra was different from my own so there was a chance that I might be able to open a portal to the Shinobi world with some preparation.

Who knows, with something from Shirou’s collection, I could maybe open a portal to his world as well.

These were all the things that I needed to work on.

But this time, I had the support of everyone instead of doing it all alone.

Ajuka had come to me to discuss an exchange of techniques as well as favours for the Shadow Clone Jutsu and a few other techniques.

To be honest, it was scary to even imagine him with that technique… and this was me, someone with a cheat System speaking.

But then again, maybe we needed this type of power to face the future enemies.

I was disturbed from my thoughts by the arrival of a new face on the training ground while I was training everyone.

The guy in front of me had black hair and was built like a bull.

I knew him.

Sairaorg Bael.

In my previous world, some terrorists had supposedly attacked Lord Bael’s house and both him and his mother were killed.

Onee-chan had later told me the case with him and we made our own guesses.

Too bad we never found the whereabouts of the Nemean Lion before we came here.

Onee-chan had told me about the kind of guy he was and how he had fought his way up from being someone with no Demonic Power to be a Satan was something I could admire.

Not to mention, he was her cousin and someone whom she got along with.

That put him in my good books even before we met.

“Sairaorg. What a pleasant surprise to see you here.” Rias stepped up and went to talk with him.

“Hahahaha just been a bit busy these last few months. I didn’t know you were back from your school in the Human World.”

“Well… a lot of things happened.” She looked towards me. “We had to come back.”

“Is he?” He asked and she nodded. The guy walked towards me with a smile and offered his hand. “Sairaorg Bael. Nice to meet you, Flinn.”

I returned his handshake. The guy was tough.

Far stronger physically than most Devils I had met.

“You’re strong,” he said. “And not just in your Illusion and whatever magic you created that moon with. You train your body too. It’s rare in Devils.”

“Which I think is a waste of a resource. Why should I limit myself because other people are dumb?”

“Hahahaha well said. Say… wanna spar?” He asked suddenly out of the blue.

“Huh?”

Rias got out of her surprise first and spoke. “I don’t think that would be a good idea, Sai. Flinn is…”

She was however interrupted by Onee-chan. “He will fight but only if you use everything in your arsenal against him.”

“Oh! You must be… the one who’s said to be made from Sirzechs’ DNA.”

“My name is Ria. Nice to meet you Sairaorg.”

“Nice to meet you too.” He then bowed slightly. “And I am sorry for the behaviour of my father during the council meeting. I found out about it recently and it was the main reason I came here… to apologise.” He said with utmost seriousness.

“Eh… it wasn’t your fault. He said some stupid things. I called him an asshole and beat him up. Grandma stopped us. Things are over now. Don’t sweat about it.”

“You did what?” He did a take back suddenly.

“Ah… you didn’t know that?”

“No. I thought you just had a row with him. I only know that he had said something offensive towards Ria and you had some form of disagreement.”

“Well….I guess I didn’t beat him up exactly. I did want to, believe me I did from the bottom of my heart but both Onee-chan and Grandma stopped me. I just made him kneel with the outburst of my power and threatened them. But in my defence, he was being really dumb.”

“Alright Flinn. That’s enough. Sairaorg doesn’t mean anything bad.” Rias stepped in between us. “Sorry about Flinn. He doesn’t mean anything bad either.”

“Eh? I don’t mean anything bad either. I kinda like this guy from what I have heard about him. Someone who has decided to take his fate in his own hands and didn’t back out even against overwhelming odds, if anything I would like to become his friend.” I raised my hands.

The guy stared at me dumbfounded for a moment and then burst out in laughter.

“It’s fine. In fact I would like to be your friend too.”

The atmosphere calmed down a bit with this.

We talked a bit about different things after that.

“So, he was training you all. That seems interesting.”

“It has been a new experience for everyone.” Rias replied.

“So… how is it that we only heard about you after so long? I mean there wasn’t even a word of your existence in the Underworld.” He asked, turning to me.

“My Bloodline was not something seen before and my power combined with such a fact would have caused many people to target me, both domestic and foreign. So, Grandma and Father made a decision to keep my existence a secret. They were going to reveal me on my eighteenth birthday but… you already know what happened.”

“How was the fight though? You had to go so far as to create a new moon for the fight. I even went to the site and saw the mountains. Some of them looked as if they had the top parts been cut off by a knife. Did you do that or was it one of them?”

“Both. Some of them were done by me while some by others.”

“Man… that just makes me even more excited to fight you. I haven’t seen anyone except the Dragon King Tannin possess such strength. It would be an amazing fight. I haven’t had the opportunity to go up all out against anyone of our age.”

“We can fight later on if  you want.” I shrugged.

Since Onee-chan already promised, I wouldn’t back out.

“Oh we will. I just called for my pawn. Since it seems that Ria here knows about things which I thought I was keeping secret. I too don’t want to hold back.”

And as if on a cue, a teleportation circle appeared and out of it came two people. A blonde haired blue eyed girl followed by a guy in a hood.

My Observation Haki felt strength from him.

He was strong.

Much stronger than even his own King but… it felt different.

The Nemean Lion.

One of the thirteen Longinus.

“Alright. Let’s go. I’m ready for the spar.”

“Sure.” I got up too.

- Chysis Gremory -

She entered the training ground on the news that Flinn was fighting Sairaorg.

At first she was worried that they might have gotten off on the wrong foot but it seems that Ria was the one who organised it.

Beside her was the ancestor.

“So that’s the Bael kid and the Gremory with the Magic Eyes.” She asked, looking at the scene.

“Yes. Sairaorg is a good kid. Very different from the rest of his clan. The rough childhood has made the kid grow up faster than most.”

“Who’s that other guy beside him? Is it two against one?”

She too looked at the person in the hood in confusion.

Ria took notice of them and approached them. She took a look at Runeas and bowed slightly towards her to which the ancestor just waved her off, signalling to keep her identity a secret.

“What is going on here, Ria? Who is the other person?”

“That… he is Sairaorg’s pawn. I agreed to his request of fighting Flinn if he went all out against him and he needed his pawn for that. Keep watching, you will get to see a good match.”

“If you say so.”

She then looked at Flinn’s peerage member. “Shuri, make a barrier around the field. Those two will cause some destruction. We don’t want the estate to get destroyed.”

“That kid can do that? I mean I can understand Magic Eyes looking at the moon above but him?” Ancestor whispered, looking at Sairaorg.

“He has a trump card.”

The woman created a barrier around the place with her Sacred Gear in a moment and finally both of them started.

“Let me start by myself. I want to see the difference between a devil or your level and myself.” Sairaorg said.

Flinn shrugged. “Feel free to do whatever you like.”

The child took a position and Touki burst out from him, creating a small sized crater in the place where he was standing as he disappeared from his place.

“That’s fast.”

He concentrated his Touki on his fist and punched forward with a roar.

The ground around Flinn was torn apart for hundreds of metres behind him as dust covered the whole area.

When the dust settled down, an astonishing scene appeared in front of them.

Flinn was standing in his place, a hand behind his back while the other hand was raised and he was meeting Sairaorg’s punch… with a single finger.

The attacker was stunned at the sight too as Flinn flicked his finger, flinging him several tens of metres away.

“It’s a surprise no matter how many times I see it. He wasn’t even using any Magic. Just how in the seven heaven’s did he train himself to such a level?”

“He was using Haki. Flinn’s training methods are extremely harsh. Many would probably give all the credit of his strength to his inborn abilities but it still doesn’t change the fact that he is still one of the most hardworking people I have ever seen.”

Sairorg got back to his feet and kicked the ground again, creating an even bigger crater on the ground and raining a flurry of punches on Flinn but… all his attacks were met with a single finger, not letting a single attack bypass his defences.

Sairaorg roared, his Touki flaring to a massive degree and he punched once more with all his might. In return, Flinn flicked his finger forward, meeting his attack head on.

Both attacks clashed against each other causing shockwaves on both sides.

Sairaorg stepped back, relaxing as a smile appeared on his face.

“That was amazing. You really are as strong as they say hahahaha. I can finally go all out and have some fun.”

He laughed as he looked at Flinn.

Balance Breaker.”

With those words, the pawn in the hood threw his cape away and there appeared a young man with burnt orange hair in his place.

His body shone with light as he transformed into a gigantic lion and she realised exactly who it was.

The Nemean Lion, Regulus Nemea.

Sairaorg shone with light too and the Nemean Lion took the form of an armour around him with a Lion’s head on his chest and two lion head epaulettes on his shoulders.

An Axe appeared in his hands.

“So that’s what he was hiding. I didn’t know that the Bael had the Nemean Lion on their side.” She whispered.

“They don’t, exactly. Sairaorg met it while he was exiled with his mother and convinced it to join his peerage with the Vapula Lion Tamer skill. The Bael House don’t even know of it being in Sairaorg’s possession.” Ria explained.

….

“I see. And what is Flinn doing?”

They looked at him and he was just smiling before raising his hand.

I am the bone of my Blade.”

A gigantic sword or more of a hybrid between an axe and a sword appeared in his hands. It looked like something which would have been suitable in the hands of a barbarian. The blade was larger than Flinn’s own body.

He waved it and a gust of wind blew over the whole area.

In reply, Sairaorg raised his own axe.

They looked at each other and then both sides disappeared and a loud explosion took place in the middle of the training ground where they met.

But the difference was again visible.

Flinn seemed even more dominant for some reason.

The axe of the Regulus Nemean which was said to cut apart anything was being pushed back with each attack.

Both of them fought for a long time but by then it was evident that Flinn was merely letting him try everything he wanted and not attacking in earnest.

After one more clash, Sairaorg was sent flying back and he plunged his axe into the ground, using it to slow down his fall as he gasped for breath.

“Really… you are as strong as they say. From the start, you have only been using one foot in this fight while your other foot has stayed rooted to the ground. Just how much have you been holding back?”

“I’m not using any magic for starters. But if you want to know how much, then yes, a lot. While I haven’t seen him fight, from what I know, my physical strength is at least comparable if not beyond the former Dragon King Tannin. You are strong but not quite there yet.”

“... I see. It seems that even after the new broadcast, I had been underestimating you a lot. I’m sorry for that.” Sairaorg took a stance. “Okay, let’s finish this. Don’t hold back on me this time. I wish to see the full extent of your power.”

Flinn took a deep breath and lowered his sword. “Alright. Remember you asked for this.”

Sairaorg raised his axe as Touki flared around him, concentrating on his axe.

He kicked the ground and dashed forward with a sonic boom.

Flinn on the other hand just stood in his place, sword still lowered.

Sairaorg swung his axe down and there was an explosion of air around Flinn.

When the dust settled down.

They could see the scene in front of them.

Flinn was still in his place. Unmoved.

His left hand now had a black colour all over as red lightning sparkled around it sometimes as he held the axe of Regulus Nemea, with his bare hands.

“... but that’s.” Sairaorg’s words weren’t finished as his Balance Breaker armour was suddenly cut apart into thousands of pieces and dissipated. The Nemean Lion was thrown aside too.

Flinn raised his Axe-Sword and placed it on his neck.

“Checkmate.”

- Flinn -

This guy is weird.

I looked at the guy who was eating with full gusto in front of me.

Others would be sulking or training their ass off, getting all serious after such a defeat but this guy…

He just took everything in stride.

I could tell that he was serious but he didn’t let that change his normal behaviour.

Still laughing and talking with everyone and having fun.

I could see why Onee-chan said I would like him.

“But seriously, what was that sword? It looked like something a caveman would use and yet it was so strong.” Sairaorg asked me.

“And for some reason, I felt really angry whenever I saw that sword. I wanted to scratch it with my paws.” The orange haired guy, Regulus Nemea said.

I laughed at his comment.

“That was a replica of the sword used by Herakles.”

“No wonder. He didn’t use that against me so I couldn’t tell. Where did you even find it?”

“I didn’t find it. I just had the opportunity to see the real one and created a copy with my magic. It’s similar to how Sword Birth creates swords, basically an application of Projection Magic.”

“Projection Magic? I don’t think I‘ve seen Projection Magic of that level.”

“Self created.”

“I see. Anyways, I lost this fight completely. But I won’t give up. I will train and challenge you again.”

….

What is he, a male Sona?

No.

He’s at least having fun in all this.

“And next time I will break that sword in two.” Regulus growled.

“Sure. I’ll be waiting for it.” I smiled.

And I will just make another sword.

With that said, he teleported away with his Queen and Rook.

- Sairaorg -

He clenched his fist in excitement as he closed his eyes and remembered the battle he had just had a while ago.

That guy was not using any kind of Magic till the last moment and he was supposedly an expert of illusions.

The news was showing him twenty four-seven for the last week after his stunt against the Naberius.

It wasn’t baseless either.

The proof was right above their heads.

A new moon over beside the last one.

Although this one was slightly smaller than the last one, this was created by Flinn Gremory alone unlike the previous one which required the power of all four current Satans to create.

That alone tells a lot about his strength.

At first he had thought that he would be another one of the so called anomalies, the Super Devils but looking at him, training everyone in basic physical training made him reconsider his opinion.

And the spar which followed just blew those thoughts away.

Physical techniques.

Self Created Physical Techniques.

He was defeated by something that guy had created at the age of eight.

Sigh.

“Depressed? I know I am. Seeing that guy’s sword again.” Regulus said.

“Facing such a guy is intimidating for sure but I’m not depressed. If anything I am more excited. His magic might have been stronger than others but he won with the help of brute physical strength….and that’s something he trained for. Which means….it’s possible and that….I can also reach such a level if I train hard. Why would I be depressed about something like that? If anything, I am even more excited. Next time we fight him, I want to force him to use both his feet.”

“Damn right. And I will make a chew toy out of that oversized junk sword of his.”

“I wonder if he will participate in any of the Rating Games?”

- Michael -

“And that’s what Serafall said when she invited us for the meeting.” Gabriel finished her report and he and the rest of her siblings fell into thought.

The incident in the Underworld had now spread far and wide.

The Naberius and their scheme with Marius Tepes about creating clones of the prominent figures of the Three Factions and planning an uprising using those?

It had caused a great amount of chaos knowing who some of those clones were.

Sirzechs.

Grayfia.

The fact that they had even reached so close to getting a sample from Gabriel and only missed because it got replaced by Griselda’s in some matter of chance was enough to give an idea about the limits of their plans.

He even found the identity of the last person who was cloned after some searching.

Shuri Himejima.

The former member of the Himejima Clan of Onmyojis and Barakiel’s wife.

All the factions were involved in this.

There was heavy dissatisfaction among the church as well as Heaven at their actions and many of them even wanted to go to war but were held back due to a quick damage control done by the Satans at uprooting those criminals.

But there was another reason.

One of the most prominent ones.

Flinn Gremory.

The half brother of Sirzechs and another anomaly, a Super Devil.

If there were any who wanted to start a war, they quickly suppressed that thought when they looked at the second moon in the Underworld Sky.

They were hiding another one of them.

This was something none of them had expected.

Nor had anyone expected that he would be able to convince a clone of Sirzechs to join his side.

With this, the devil side had suddenly gained a large amount of strength.

Such a position made people feel uneasy.

And now Sirzechs was calling an emergency meeting of the Three Factions to give them an explanation and citing that the future of the whole world might be at stake if they didn’t take any actions.

He didn’t know what was going to be discussed in the meeting and what reveals were going to be made but he knew one thing….it was not going to be a simple meeting.

“Very well. I will accept their invitation for the meeting.” He answered. “I will leave the selection of escorts to you.”

“Yes brother.”

Author’s Note:

So, a few things happened in this chapter.

Flinn is getting everyone prepared for the future.

Sirzechs is overjoyed at the chance to escape a dreaded enemy.

Ajuka would trade a kidney for the same technique.

They are also planning for the future against the Machine and Spirit Gods’ invasion as well as making preparations where they can fall back to if things really go south.

Yes. We are going to have some world travel.

On other hand, Sairaorg joined in the fun and is even more motivated than before.

And the other factions are extremely wary of the situation.

Stay tuned for the next chapter to know what happens next.

Enjoy the new chapter.

Good Day, Peace Out.

Great job this chapter! Really looking forward to Flinn and Co. go world hopping. Potterverse would be great just for the magic. I would totally raid the room of requirement of every book and anything else of value. Plus’s the hollows, even if just to study them.
