Chapter 286: Hachiman Disdained by His Sister

“Trying to charm me? You're far from succeeding.”

Yumiko huffed but suddenly had a thought and asked, “Why are you here? This is a women's clothing store. You're not here for some perverted behavior, are you?”

Hearing her words, Hachiman was left speechless.

“Of course not! What kind of image do you have of me? I'm just here to accompany Komachi in buying clothes.”

“Oh, you came with Komachi.” Yumiko nodded in understanding.

“Exactly, I'm not that vulgar guy you're thinking of.” Hachiman straightened his chest, trying to redefine himself.

Seeing his demeanor, Yumiko snorted, “A guy like you who wants to build a harem is no different from them.”

She hadn't forgotten that Hachiman had once mentioned wanting both her and Yui.

Little did she know, Hachiman's desire extended beyond just the two of them.

“But I genuinely care about both of you. I like you, Yumiko.” Hachiman's expression was unusually sincere.

Unexpectedly confronted with such a serious confession, Yumiko's heart ruffled with slight ripples. However, being a strong-willed girl, she wasn't one to easily agree.

“Hmph, many people like me. You're not that special.”

“Isn't that even better? Your charm attracts many admirers, Yumiko.” Hachiman praised her before changing the subject.

“But I might get jealous, so let me mark you, Yumiko.”

Before she could react, he hugged her and planted a kiss on her enticing lips.

“Mmm...”

Yumiko was startled by Hachiman's sudden kiss. She tried to resist, realizing they were in a store, and being seen like this would be embarrassing.

Unfortunately, her strength was negligible to Hachiman. Before long, Yumiko lost the energy to resist and gradually became immersed in the kiss.

Damn, he's surprisingly skilled...

Such a thought crossed the girl's mind, but the next moment, she lost the will to resist, and her body instinctively responded.

After an unknown period, their lips separated with a soft sound, giving Yumiko a chance to catch her breath. She breathed heavily.

"Jerk, why did you do that so forcefully?"

With a blush on her face, the girl extended her hand and lightly pounded Hachiman's chest. However, the force seemed more like a lover's playful gesture.

"Hehe, if I'm not firm, how can it be considered stamping?" Hachiman chuckled.

"After stamping, Yumiko, you're mine."

Saying this, he tightened his hold on the girl.

Hearing his words, Yumiko felt a faint sense of happiness in her heart, but she didn't show it on her face. Instead, she pretended to be unhappy, giving him a disapproving look.

"You're daydreaming. Hurry up and let go. What if Komachi-chan sees us?"

But Hachiman was completely unfazed. "What's there to be afraid of? If Komachi sees us, I'll introduce you to her as her sister-in-law."

"Pfft, you shameless guy. I still have some decency," the girl retorted, disdainfully.

"And if Komachi-chan finds out you're thinking of more than one sister-in-law for her, she'll probably be shocked."

Hachiman chuckled. Before he could say more, he actually heard Komachi's name.

"Onii-chan..."

"Huh, where did Onii-chan go? He disappeared in the blink of an eye," Yumiko said, startled by Komachi's voice. She quickly pushed Hachiman away and adjusted her clothes.

Seeing this, Hachiman shrugged, calling out to Komachi in the direction of her voice, "Komachi, I'm over here."

Komachi turned a corner and, upon seeing Hachiman, couldn't help but complain, "Really, Onii-chan, why did you wander off? You made Komachi worry so much."

Hearing her words, Hachiman rolled his eyes, saying, "I'm your brother, okay? What's there to worry about? I just saw someone I know and came over to say hello."

"Eh? Someone you know."

Komachi looked around and then spotted Yumiko, who had just finished adjusting her clothes. She quickly greeted her, "Oh, it's Yumiko-neesan. Good afternoon."

"Yeah, Komachi-chan, good afternoon."

Yumiko, finding Komachi adorable, couldn't harbor any dislike for her. She smiled and returned the greeting. However, there was a faint feeling of guilt lingering in her heart.

"Is Yumiko-neesan also here to buy clothes?" Komachi asked.

Suppressing the guilt, Yumiko nonchalantly nodded, "Yes, I'm here to buy clothes too."

"That's great! Yumiko-neesan, let's just choose clothes together. Onii-chan can't offer any useful opinions anyway," Komachi said happily, revealing a smile. She then cast a somewhat disdainful look at Hachiman standing beside her.

Hmm.

Hachiman didn't expect to be looked down upon by this little sister. He couldn't help but tug at the corner of his mouth.

Even Yumiko couldn't help but let out a chuckle and gave Hachiman a teasing glance.

"Sure, Komachi-chan. Rest assured, I'll make sure to dress you up beautifully."

As one of the pinnacles of attractiveness among all the girls in the school, Yumiko excelled in both makeup and clothing coordination.

"Since that's the case, let's go, Yumiko-neesan."

"Okay." Komachi nodded and then glanced at Hachiman, who was idle.

"Onii-chan, come over here."

"Me? I don't know anything about choosing clothes," Hachiman said, puzzled.

"I'm well aware of that. So, Onii-chan, your only job is to come along and carry the bags," Komachi said matter-of-factly.

Hmm, carrying bags.

Hearing Komachi's words, Hachiman smirked and then realized he couldn't find a reason to object.

Because when a guy goes shopping with girls, apart from paying, the other duty is to carry bags.

"Hurry up, Onii-chan."

Komachi turned around, and seeing Hachiman standing there, hands on hips, she urged him.

"Coming, coming."

Hachiman responded and quickly caught up.

For the next two hours, he dutifully played the role of a bag carrier. Well, what could he do? One was his beloved sister, and the other he had just kissed. With him around, Komachi and Yumiko only needed to focus on trying and buying clothes.

Around 4 PM, Yumiko and Komachi finally concluded their shopping spree. By this time, Hachiman was laden with seven or eight bags, each containing various articles of clothing.
