(Updated Model) Nintendo Switch Retro Arcade (Patreon)

After building many of these retro arcades myself I've noticed one minor update that can make this product print much better. I've experimented with many different layer heights and filaments and some printed perfectly clean, and some older/cheaper spools of filaments resulted in small artifacts & wavy lines when printing the top piece. This is due to the angle that the top piece prints at (See picture #2).

I want this product to print perfect for everyone regardless of which printer or filament you're using. So to make sure of this I made a minor update to the top piece of the arcade so it now prints at an angle that will result in a flawless print for everyone and does not require support material.

As a result of updating the top piece I also had to update the upper sections of the side panels to match the new angle of this updated top piece. The only changes to this updated model is the top piece & sides, every other piece is still the exact same and will fit the same way they did with the first model. 

Printing the top piece at this new angle will also give you the ability to add custom text to the front panel which wasn't possible before this update due to the extreme angle it was printed at.

I wanted to make this update before I worked on any new designs for the side panels because they also had to be updated to match the new angle of the top piece. Now that everything is perfect, new side panel designs are ready to be rolled out! The only side panel design that has been released so far is the brick wall design which was also updated and included in this listing. 

For those who haven't experienced this issue of small artifacts/wavy lines on the top piece, you can continue to print the original model if you'd like as they both look almost identical. This update was to help out anyone who may have experienced these issues while printing the top piece.

I'll be releasing the .step files for every piece of this new design now that it's finalized and perfect.
