A curious snow leopardess models the magic bindings used by the sorcerers of the ancient Yam Dynasty to transform feline captives into terracotta statues. She is part of a testing program intended to discover how the magic bindings work, using a large cache of prepared bindings found in the tomb of the Yam Dynasty founder. It is hoped that the power of the bindings can be reproduced, and used for artistic purposes and as a tourist attraction.
