As the lovely tigress twirls around the pole, ethereal beams of transformative energy sweep through her body, converting her flesh and bone into softly luminous gelatin filled with a rainbow of brightly glowing spheres, diamonds, cubes, and other geometric shapes. Despite the astonishing and very real effect this has on her appearance, it has no discernible affect on her mind or physical abilities. As the 'lumanized' portions of her body pass out of the beam, they return to normal. 

Should the energy beam turn off suddenly, the lumanized body parts of her body will remain in their lumanized state until she is swept by the beam again. The only notable effect of this is that she will require no need for sustenance if the core of her body is lumanized.

Should the tigress place herself in a position where the beam lumanizes her entire body, the transformation becomes permanent. She loses her ability to speak, but in exchange also loses her need to breathe. This is in addition to not requiring food or drink.

Lumadancing venues generally ensure their beams aren't wide enough to fully transform dancers, though a few will hold events where beam width varies and audience members are invited to face the peril of becoming a 'luma' for a chance at winning various prizes.
