Reactive biogel is a potent form of thick biogel goo which is hazardous only to biogel wearing sapient organic organisms. Should it come into even the slightest contact with a biogel suit, it causes that suit to immediately glisten its wearer.

Reactive biogel was developed to provide Vixanti Corporation security with a non-fatal weapon for internal use against biogel wearing troublemakers. It soon turned into a tool of kink, glistening willing subjects for fun and VixNet video goodness. Once biogel was released into the commercial market, it became the centerpiece of the Biogel Games, fired from various weapons as paintball-like pellets, or as a spray from "gelthrowers".

Reactive biogel degrades quickly when exposed to air. After 30 seconds, it becomes inert and solidifies into a squishy lump.

Reactive biogel is not available to the general public for purchase in any form. Interactive experiences are available to the general public at the Gelarium facilities adjacent to almost all of the Biogel Games arenas, however, and many biogel home product controllers can be loaded with biogel play programs that culminate in the same glistening effect.
