Strangler figs have complemented (and probably complimented) agėmian carpentry and house-building for generations. Molding themselves to the plants of wood like they wood to living trees, they've evolved alongside agėmian carpenters and treespeakers for mutual, literal support, and have helped develop settlements with faint divisions between external and internal spaces.
