Future of Patreon (Patreon)

Long story short: I don't like it and I'm moving to Instar when it launches.

Short story long: I'm going to be going to Instar ( https://waitlist.inkblot.art ) as soon as it is available. This page will remain as an archive, of course, and as much as I don't like where it's going it's never a good idea to totally eliminate an option. Y'know, just in case. 

I have high hopes for Instar, but the future is unpredictable, so burning bridges wouldn't be a wise decision.

But yeah... 

I just don't like where it's going.

I don't like the social-media-y-fication of it. 

I don't like the new upload page.

I don't like how the new notification page looks.

I don't like how small the text is.

I don't like how blank everything looks.

I'm still on here because it's convenient and not much else.

I was planning on refreshing everything on my page, but this last update, which came out of the blue and only made things LESS pleasant, was just... let's say my motivation just isn't there anymore.
