VR rendering is more time consuming than normal rendering so Im gonna update the progress through here for next VR releases

Wish I had stuff that was VR compatible but from how it looks I think it will work well with VR.

I watched them, you exported top/bottom. usually that should be SBS (side by side). But test 1 works for a quick VR conversion, i couldn't get test2 to work, it was broken af. Test 1 works, but you should look into the following: - 1080p doesn't cut it in VR, because the image is zoomed in a lot, that's why you will see a lot of pixels. 2k or 4k, even 6k should be aimed at (but not for a quick test conversion.) The image quality will suffer a lot. - try to export in HVC -180° - SBS (side by side)

the file name tells the video player of the user how to view the file, so end the file names like this: _180_SBS.mp4. HVEC is a video codec for mp4 that supports higher resolutions.

Will try to go for 4k, the problem is that even for 1080p rendering took a huge amount of time and I would say I have decent rig, a 3070 and a 5600x (I want to upgrade my CPU to have more cores, hopefully i set it as a patreon goal) Will try to do a 2 second 4k test after I finish rendering the Nia stuff

The newest test 3 works fine, but not the best resolution stilll. If possible cranking up the resolution as far as you can would probablly help a lot.

Sadly thats as far as I can go atm. Rendering in VR is way more taxing than regular rendering, if I go higher it would take me weeks and I would need to leave my pc rendering all nights, something that I dont really wanna do. When I get a better pc rig it would be possible to go higher, maybe I put it as a patreon goal, need to get a better CPU first tho.
