Three months into 2023, the top two scoring games on Metacritic are Metroid Prime Remastered and the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 4. It's very clear that some classic games can withstand the test of time and still thrill players with a minimal number of modernizing tweaks. 

What other classic games deserve this treatment? Specifically, what game was amazing when you played it the first time, and would still be amazing today with modern graphics and a few light adjustments to its gameplay?
