Hello beautiful people! We're sad to inform you that SHOCK-tober is officially over but onwards and upwards to better things. Today, we answer a very interesting question from one of our Patreon subscribers today about the state of consoles in Japan. Guess what? It's DEAD and we'll tell you why. We also got our minds on Pokemon these days with Scarlet and Violent coming out soon so we thought we would share a really fun story with you about the very first Pokemon Day. In our Never A Minute segment, we do a draft of Pokemon starters from every generation to build our perfect team. We've also been playing a ton of games lately from Marvel Snap to Persona 5 to Bayonetta 3 and we want to tell you all about it. There's a handful of news and of course a slew of questions from our wonderful Patreon community. It all starts in 3, 2, 1!

Great episode and conversation on the Japanese market. I have followed the Famitsu sales charts for a couple of decades now and it’s a fascinating one. Nintendo is certainly doing well in the territory and I expect that to continue into next-gen…hopefully! And that kind of segues to you answering my question on losing/failing in a gen and coming back stronger. Thanks for the talk on the subject from the 1:44:06 to 1:47:34 mark and here’s to non-complacency and staying hungry in the video game industry! Fun Pokémon starter piece, too. Keep it up! 😁
