The Hour of the Rat is the first 2D platformer of our Patreon! I never expected we wouldn't make 2D platformers until our 37th game haha.

In this game you have to assassinate the emperor that is resides atop a castle. You have 3 ninjas to get the job done, however, every ninja has their own strengths so choose wisely when deciding in which order you'll play them.

Once the time is up and the night starts, the emperor will try to escape, kill him before he runs away!

It is inspired by old indie games i played as a kid such as Legend of Shadow by darthlupi. It's these kinds of games that got me into making games myself! So I suppose this game is a bit of a throwback to how I started out making them.
