Solid episode! I believe the depression game is called Actual Sunlight. Remember being really frustrated with it (in a bad way) when I played it.

was so hyped to see that Kazuma was on this ep! He's got such good insights on topics that really don't get discussed as much by most western based coverage of the industry. His article on Ghost of Tsushima is a prime example (https://www.polygon.com/2020/7/23/21333631/ghost-of-tsushima-kurosawa-films-samurai-japan-abe-politics) and he got a lot of heat for it and had to lock down his socials for a few weeks cause nationalists went after him hard in response. Anyways - really great ep.

Thanks! a different tone to this episode, we're thinking we should have him back for another more serious one.

just as Alex mentioned that the format is “10 topics” my brain went “huh?” and it turned out that it really isn’t always the case and that’s the feedback I have to share

Ross Hamrick

Old school death metal from Brandon is always welcome! I believe this album was recommended in a previous episode because I distinctly recall listening to it last summer while working my way through the archive. Well, that’s my comment. Y’all are the best.

Alex Jaffe

It's 10 topics unless I had to cut one at the last minute! This sometimes happens for technical glitches, significant overlap with a previous topic, or other boring reasons.

I decided to do some digging and found the book of unreleased Famicom games: https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/gp/aw/d/4866732466/ref=mobile_oh_details_?ie=UTF8&psc=1
