What I Did Today: March 2, 2018 (Patreon)

Flew a bunch of test flights on Betaflight 3.3 to determine a good all-round recommendation for stage2 filtering.
Flew some freestyle demonstration videos on the suggested tuning to demonstrate. Used the Clearview module to get some sample footage of that as well.
Trashed one POPO motor while flying freestyle (not related to the POPO system, just ran it into something hard and metal). Replaced it. Made a mental note not to fly this quad too hard any more because there are actually fairly few samples of the POPO motors in existence right now.
Recorded a section of video showing how to set up 32 kHz, gyro rate, overclock, motor protocol, and other parameters unrelated to the filters themselves. Went back and edited this into the "filtering" video, re-rendered, and re-uploaded.
Edited, rendered, and uploaded BF 3.3 freestyle example with stick overlay.
Edited, rendered, and uploaded the same freestyle video, but this time in DVR so people can start to see how ClearView works. (Still working on a full ClearView review and test, never fear.)
Ordered an SBUS to PWM decoder. This is for the DJI Goggles RE long-ish range project. I was going to use a regular 2.4 GHz receiver, but I decided the content would be best served using the system's ability to carry the control inputs over the digital link. Since there is no FC on the wing, I need an SBUS decoder to convert the DJI module's SBUS output to servo PWM. I hope to goodness it's FrSky style inverted SBUS and not Futaba style uninverted.
Bought tickets to Sarasota for Kwad Camp. I had been going to drive down with my family but the place we board our dogs bailed at the last minute and I wasn't up for a 10 hour drive all alone.
Performed the giveaway drawing for the Acrobee and the three Drone Drop kits. Recorded and uploaded the videos.
