My two Prince recommendations are #1 Let's Go Crazy (high energy), #2 Purple Rain (sentimental). The Prince studio version of Nothing Compares 2 U does sound pretty different than the live version (and I liked the live better). Sinead (Sha-nay'd) O' Connor made it very popular but I prefer the Chris Cornell version because Chris > Sinead

PS, the brunette girl in the Aerosmith - Crazy video (Liv Tyler) is the daughter of Aerosmith lead vocalist (Steven Tyler). The blonde (Alicia Silverstone) best know for the movie Clueless also appeared in the Aerosmith videos Amazing and Crying. Liv Tyler was the elf princess (Arwen) that captures Strider/Aragorn heart in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and also the love interest of Ben Affleck's character in the movie Armageddon...which includes the Aerosmith songs: I Don't Want to Miss a Thing Sweet Emotion Come Together What Kind of Love Are You On
