18:26 -- When McNulty asked what went wrong, the other two cops made lazy assumptions. Being who he is, McNulty didn't take them at their word. He investigated the matter properly like a good cop would. This is why I like McNulty despite his flaws. He's damn good police.

14:07 — while that’s true, I think it’s unfair in a sense where the police is taking advantage of their status and, bc they’re “higher” than these criminals, it means they have the right to do them like that? If anything, I personally think that police is even worse than Wee-Bey bc he’s acting like a criminal but, the only difference is, he has a badge on and uses that as an excuse as to why it’s “okay” to do it. But, then again, The Wire does a good job of story telling when it comes to injustice in all aspects. 43:55 — the thing about McNulty is he’s a good detective but, anything outside of that, not so much, which I think is an interesting contrast. 👀
