Ah, another "Methodical, Meditative Scene Where Mike Shows Us a Way to Break the Law" One of my favorite parts of BCS.

I'm glad you guys have been enjoying season 1. Something I would suggest to better enhance your enjoyment of this show (and I say this as a huge fan of both BB & BCS [and your channel]) is to stop comparing it with Breaking Bad so much and try to forget about Breaking Bad's plot/characters/thematic parallels entirely. This is a separate show, and while it's obviously part of the same overall story/universe, it does well to stand on its own merits and is best enjoyed when approached as such. I know, easier said than done, especially since you guys JUST watched Breaking Bad for the first time, so you're coming in with that whole series still very fresh in your minds. But I would argue that focusing so much on Breaking Bad, anticipating when certain elements of it will come into play here, only serves to distract from this show's independent and unique pacing, storytelling, and general vibe. Try to immerse fully in the setting, especially the time setting of Better Call Saul and where its characters are at without thinking about where YOU know they will end up. Just my two cents I wanted to share because I noticed you guys have been a bit eager and over-anticipatory of certain moments linked to Breaking Bad, which, while they may play key moments in this show overall, are only small pieces of an otherwise new and 6-season-long original story. Give it a shot anyway, try to go at least one full reaction without mentioning Breaking Bad, how this show compares/contrasts/parallels it, or speculating when certain things may happen. Just enjoy the ride for what it is, without thinking about what may come. In the end it makes the journey more rewarding, in my experience.
