Monthly Over-View: August To September (2023) (Patreon)

Swindle: The Scorching Summer never dies, and it was so close too! So, I won't lie. We kinda backslid funding-wise for August and it kind of stings. If I remember correctly, we started the month at about $1740 and are currently looking to end it at $1557-1549. We had a LOT of people leave, mostly it seems to be due to personal situations, which is understandable, but some seemed to leave because they don't gel as well with The Owl House and wanted us to get straight to Fervor Chapter 3. I respect people's personal tastes and likes but I just wish to remind you that keeping us funded now helps ensure that we can make the fan favorite comics faster later while still being able to do passion projects like this one in between.

So for those considering leaving I implore you to trust us to deliver a great comic even if it’s from a different franchise and to stick with us, especially when you see the characters we have in store. For those who HAVE stuck by us through thick and thin: we thank you ever so graciously, and if you were to feel so generous as to help us through this bit of a slump by upgrading your pledge we would be even more grateful and be sure to deliver upon the rewards you deserve, but it is entirely your choice if you choose to do so, and we thank you all the same. I mean it literally when i say every bit of support counts!

Business Time: We are five pages into our newest comic "The Owl House: The Opposite of War.” As a reminder for those not in the know: our current structure is to do six full pages of a comic before returning to our Gold and Diamond Comms then back to the comic for six pages, which will allow us more breathing room to do necessary pre-production like thumbnails and backgrounds and props and to ensure a consistently high comic quality as well as allow for occasional breaks and sick leave. We thank all of our generous higher tiers for their patience and every other tier as well for their generous support.

As a reminder due to Patreon taking down goals, the current goals are:
$2200: Will be able to release Written Stories of our future comics or ideas that we have.
$3300: Will be able to occasionally hire sketch artists to help production of comics along.
$4500 : Will be able to consistently hire sketch/line artists to help make multiple comics and expand into other media such as comic dubs with voice acting

Unknowingest: I’m really grateful to everyone who’s able to give their hard-earned cash to support our artistic endeavors, especially since this comic in particular is my baby. I’ve put a lot into its creation and I’m ready to put a lot more in. It’s not in my nature to alter artistic course because of a hesitant viewer response, because I believe that my passion for what I’m doing will reach more people more deeply than just trying to pander to a wider audience with popular topics that I am not obsessed with. That’s all kind of highfalutin for a porn comic artist, but what I mean to say is, if I’m taking this ship down, I’m glad that you’re all coming down with me. Yarharhar.
