Steven Universe Fervor Chapter 1: "Because I Said So" Full Comic Set (Patreon)

Swindle: These are the Hi-Res Pages for our first ever comic "Steven Universe Fervor" that really launched our original profiles far beyond anything we ever expected.

And yes, being our first comic there was a LOT of Pre-Production here that ballooned it into taking THIRTEEN MONTHS for a comic thats shorter than the Pearl one that we're about halfway done with in less than six months.

While i touched up a couple of spots and changed the colors on the SFX for better visibility and consistency, this is still our first comic and you can tell we are still learning posing, framing, and all of those backgrounds including the rocks and trees are drawn by hand, and the ground is actually a texture from the show that i have to squash and stretch for every single shot it was in frame. So obviously we didn't want to do that again and started looking into 3D backgrounds which has paid off massive in terms of turnaround time.

Unknowingest: This comic was harrowing at times, but finishing it was a massive personal milestone. I had never attempted anything even approaching the scale of this comic. It felt fantastic when it was finally finished. I wouldn't be where I am now if Swindle hadn't asked me to work on this with him. This comic was also the start of my personal quest to not have to draw backgrounds. I made a tree brush and reused the smashed up rocks background at every opportunity.

At a Later date there will be a post for our Jasper and above tiers to have access to the PSDs as promised once the tiers are more populated.

We will also upload the pages again to a twitter that will act as an archive for each comic in their own thread, but with Twitter Compression being what it is, these are the much clearer viewng experience.
