Update on Patreon Tax (Bleughhh) (Patreon)

Hi Lovelies, 

As you may already know, due to new laws in several countries and US states, Patreon will now be required to start charging sales tax on some pledges starting July 1st. Whether or not you will be charged sales tax depends on your location. Less than half of you should be affected 🙌 , and if you are affected, the amount should be very small (Patreon tells me on a $5 pledge, it should be between 20 cents and 55 cents). I've tried to save you as much money as possible (legally!), with the settings available to me in Patreon. 🤞

If you’re in a location where sales tax will be required, you should expect to receive an email from Patreon with more information about this very soon.
