I've always wanted to know what the red scar on his neck was, or really the red scars in general what they were from.

Vel's 2 distinguishing scars are from being decapitated at one point, and at another point having his spine speared/broken (he's been around a very long time/has been repeatedly hunted for being a witch/monster, he can 'die' but eventually comes back slowly but surely cause they are a ghoul)
