It's now week two. Things are looking pretty good. The video is almost fully cut and in the right order. Currently 5 of 15 minutes finished. Still aiming for completion at the end of next week.

I went back to do a lot of tidying up, as I didn't really like how I had animated some of the text. I thought it would be cool to make the text roll with the cars as they flip over. But it looks kind of gimmicky and just makes it harder to read as the text changes orientation. Horizontal and vertical motion seems okay. But it's when the text start rotating that it's hard to follow.

I'm also discovering that Shadowplay is fairly unreliable when it comes to a consistent frame-rate. But of a nuisance. I've learnt my lesson and will try to stick to Dxtory and Fraps next time.

Some teaser footage attached. We visited the strip club where ZF Tom apparently works. But Cyanide seems to have his eye on something other than the dancers...

You're having issues with Shadowplay? What kind? It works well on my end...

SovietWomble

The frame rate is dynamic. But it doesn't appear to be in a predictably way. Sometimes it's 60fps, or 44.352, or 52.523. The result is tearing if you enable resample. Oddly enough, Dxtory seems to remain in a smooth 60fps the whole time, so I'm not sure what's going on with the lower frame rates at those times.

Flan

Ahh, huh. I don't think I use resample so that may be why I haven't noticed the issue with Shadowplay - I did notice the variable framerate because Adobe Premiere does not handle it and results in audio/video desync, while Vegas handles it fine enough. But yeah, if the others don't cause those issues then don't use Shadowplay, the main reason I use it is to record things that already happen. Absolutely life-saving feature.

*technical editing stuff I don't fully comprehend* I'm just here for the bewbs.

Haha awesome. Love your dedication to quality.

Honestly I thought you were using Adobe AE for the motion tracking so I must say I'm quite impressed with your work in Sony Vegas. Or maybe you have encountered a shortcut because I find it extremely tedious.

Quality needs time, use as much of it as u need womble. Its always worth the wait

Well so much for a regular upload schedule

SovietWomble

It's roughly 5 working days, or 37.5 hours for every 6 minutes of bullshittery. It can be as regular as needed. Be it shorter episodes each week, or longer ones every couple of weeks. Happy to go with group preference :)

Maybe you could alternate so spend one week on a short length video then three weeks on a full length and alternate between then

SovietWomble

Yes indeedy. Been doing that in fact. A moment ago was GTA which took 3 weeks. Prior to that, Soldat and Fallout 4 which took 1 week. Prior to that, Farming simulator which was a week and a bit. And then CSGO which was about 4 weeks due to the dayz analysis thing I was working on. It's good to alternate :)
